Well reserve teams are no longer allowed to participate in the Copa, it would be very interesting to see how Barcelona and Villarreal B would do otherwise considering the latter is in 5th place in the Segunda right now.

I can understand the logic behind it because if they randomly meet the A team it's going to be likely 1 sided (like the 1980 final) but I think it's a good way to reward those teams with elite canteras. Villarreal definitely is not given enough credit for building a world class cantera in a decade, I bet their B team could cause upsets in the Copa.

This guy shows total loyalty and yet the club doesn't want to renew the damn contract. Re-sign him or we will feel the impacts of his departure. Surely a TOP 5 CB in the world.
