Apparently Varane is putting amazing performances during training sessions and quality + development gap is nearly invisible with him. He is the tallest in the team and despite that he is so tall he is just as fast as Pepe is. The guy could be a real deal and soon.

well if Mourinho switches to 4-3-3(think its likely if Kaka is sold) then he may do well on the left of midfield in a Marcelo-Coentrao-Di Maria/Ronaldo
if Mourinho retains his formation then cant see him slotting in the midfield to be honest
