As I said. Piqué or Benz.

No mate. Credit is due to Ozil tonight. He was the man running the show along with the workers like Granero, CR, Benzema and later Callejon.

As for Karim alone, he made Barca's CBs his bitches if I have to put it bluntly and it's not the first (hopefully not the last) good showing from him.

That's where Sahin comes in. The dude will be key when fit. RM is best when they have players who can quickly deploy the ball between themselves and cover a large distance within seconds. All depending on accurate passing and confidence, if we get this right with the players, we may be able to get it right against Barca.

Possibly, but the introduction of Benz changed the game. As for Sahin, is he deceased? I thought he'd take a place in the starting eleven... but seems like he's made Mou upset.

Great game today, but we better make sure we won't commit the same mistakes again. We played like you were Getafe, like the game was over.

Nah, he's just totally lost it fitness-wise this season. It's not like he isn't even getting to sit on the bench for no reason.

the only reason Ozil "ran" the show is because the plethora of space between all barca and madrid players. Thus there was no usual pressing. Ofcourse he is class but barca let madrid play football today.

It's not like Barca made 10m space radius in the first half. Regularly with two players on his back he took the ball, ran with it and made passes like every other league game. There is no downplaying what he has shown tonight. As I said, he came out on the pitch a completely different player than everyone would hope for. Before the game I was reading Barca's supporters comments on how Ozil will be Barca's 12th man, because of turnovers and lack of balls. Well, there you have it.

Why Granero doesn't start over Kaka and Diarra is beyond me. His ballplaying skills are superb. Sure, this was definitely a day for Oezil, but Granero opened up the midfield for him I think <_<. What Madrid have been missing in the Clasicos. Now that he's played well, hopefully he gets playing time. Also, Callejon, if it wasn't for his hair......

Ozil was never a bad player in a classico, also for the other madrid players. Biggest part of barcas game is their way of retaining the ball by executing high pressure in packs and by staying all very compact. This was not the case today and was clear from the first minute which worried me since that same minute. Pressing makes the difference between 1 or 2 players defending or a whole pack which will almost always retrieve the second ball. Thats the reason why we beat Arsenal , Man u etc. Thats the reason why Madrid looked bad before and not now. If we loose that part of our identity we are very fragile and very likely to concede.

Mourinho won't play risky approach unless there is nothing to lose. Kaka was very good for the first 20 mins and Granero isn't stable enough. RM were on the roll as they smelled an opportunity and were good enough to take advantage, Granero did too.

You did pressure, not as much as usually, but you did the same job with the people who live their game when ball is at their feet. The problem is that sometimes no matter how much you press the guy, he will always have the chance to make the right play, either getting out of the pressure by dribbling or by passing to the nearest teammate and that was the case with Ozil tonight. He made very few wrong plays, which showed with the amount of threats we were able to create in the final third.

Because Granero has a 1 good game every 10 matches, people are going all over him but he is just average. He has his moments of brilliance, but they are random, there are hundreds of midfielders like that around the globe. He is not consistent at all
