Wooo. Yaay! :D
Didn't know Madrid lost yesterday, saw Barça's match and slept. Seems like most of you in here thought the lead wouldn't last long and it lasted for the whole match. Anti-jinx.

Sometimes but I also don't think Michael can be bought

Laud has a home in Madrid (if Gio's correct). And its rumoured that his move to A. Madrid (before his eventual stint at Mallorca) was apparently blocked by RM. I remember him visiting their training last season. In short, he's still in touch and shares a rapport with the club. So if the opportunity arises, i think he won't decline. But i'm also of the belief that his stay will be short-lived because of all the pol. shenanigans prevalent at the capital club. Happened the same at Mallorca.

I honestly think that if Madrid lose to City they will crack. You will see some smaller players leaving in January, reports of players fighting or something along those lines, team chemistry fading slowly etc.As good as Mou is as a manager,Pep is x10000000000000 times better as a motivator. He kept a team who had nothing left to win in their second season hungry for 3 seasons, understandably they lost hunger and so did he.

I remember one interview with him where his intolerance for the political side of management was the rare occasion where he actually became animated...It could happen but he struck me as someone who had moved on...You could also see he misses the competitiveness of the top tier

I read somewhere that RM's yearly stadium revenue is +- 150M, while apparently Barca's is only 115M. Kinda surprised me, 'cause the capacity of the Camp Nou is so much higher than that of the Bernabeu. Is it because the ticket prices at the Bernabeu are higher than at Camp Nou, or because the average attendance at Bernabeu is higher than at Camp Nou?

Well he did move from Barca to Real.. and he is very much idolized with our fans..

He also recently stated that he doesn't have the ambition to manage a big club.

Laudrup:

"People sometimes say to me, 'You've been to Getafe and Mallorca and you go to Swansea now, but you always played at the top. Why do you do that?' First of all, I haven't received an offer to go to Barcelona, Madrid or Manchester United. Secondly, I don't have that ambition to think, 'Oh, one day, I would like to go to the top.'

Let's say I started with Brondby in 2002 and my ambition was to manage Barcelona or Real Madrid. I do well, after four years I go to Spain, I do well and after the third year I have the possibility to go to Barcelona. We finish second, I lose the Champions League final and I go out in the semi-final of the Cup. And they say to me, 'Michael, we're sorry but we didn't win anything so we're going to have to change.' Then I've had eight years with that ambition and in 10 months it's all over, for one game. You can't live like that."

Michael always was humble chap , if he say anything apart from that Swansea fans would think he is in it for the short run

Camp Nou has a slightly higher average attendance I believe... but it might be more expensive to run

Edit: Apparently 10,000 more/game

Edit 2: From another source, with difference numbers. Insane average attendances in Dortmund and Manchester.

Lol .. no man you don't count that way.. of course a stadium of 99 K will host more.. it's the average in relation to the total capacity

So Real has 74 K out of our 80 K (although we did increase 5000 seats last year )
while Barca has 84 K out of your 99 K

Dortmund almost full house especially now that they are back to back winners

madrid makes more due to box sales and higher ticket prices

Yes you do count that way. Barca has a higher average attendance, RM has a higher utilisation of capacity. Camp Nou is lacking in terms of VIP seats and I'd guess RM has higher pricing on the normal tickets too.

Reverse it ...

You lose 15 K seats per match day ..

we lose 6/11 K seats per match

Capice ?
