I think Marcelo is better offensively than Maxwell but Maxwell is better defensively.

Marcelo definitely has the better potential and will easily be better than Maxwell soon enough.

Guys, what the feck is up with the Marcelo rating?

He should be dropped at the midfield on the left or somethign but not in defense. Although i don't really complain if you put him left back. Au contraire even.

Well every time I have seen Marcelo play he has impressed me at LB position. He has great offensive abilities but he has to work on his defensive and tactical game. But that comes with age and maturity. For me he has all the raw skills be a world class left back, whilst Maxwell is probably ahead of him right now but he will never be world class.

not necessarly...milan had first opion on all madrid players, which is most likely why milan got huntelaar for 15m € instead of any other team like arsenal for 18m €.

Serie A suits him. But I doubt he'll really stand out at Milan.

yeah, something like that...the term first "option" may just be bad use on my part. but basically, whatever they called it, milan was to be considered above all other teams interested in any player that's leaving.

Excellent for Milan really happy they have signed him. Huntelaar-Pato strikeforce has HUGE potential. With quality in midfield of pirlo, gattuso, Flamini and new additions like the american player in defence Milan have made some smart buys.

with pirlo, ronaldinho and (eventually) beckham supplying him, I suspect huntelaar will do well at milan.

he needs to be wearing the #12 though, blatantly.
