Is it purely because of Pana then? I assumed it was just that the games coincided. Your matches are always kept apart both by LFP and UEFA just as happens with us and Espanyol.

i remember couple of times both teams played in Madrid the same day in the liga ?! u'll make me go & double check the schedule for an entire season

for example last season .. Real Madrid was playing Sporting @ SB and on the same day Getafe was Playing Atletico Madrid .. 2 games in Madrid same day

Getafe - Atleti at the Coliseum or the Calderon?

Coliseum and it's still in Madrid even if it's the outskirts.. it's not like the Calderon is in the next street to Santiago Bernabeu

and for the record last year was the second consecutive time (now that i'm looking ) that Getafe- Atletico game is on the same day Real play a game @ home (was against Bilbao this time )

It's almost impossible to get a calender right with three Madrid teams.

Maybe because it's a big team clash x2. Getafe isn't really hot stuff, just like Sporting (although they have a big aficion)

Seville had 4 teams Gneg (Almeria,Recreativo,Seville & betis ) and Barca had 3 teams with Nastic-Espanyol & Barca..

it's not like LFP give a fuck about a fight occurring outside the stadium the punishment won't be more then the 2000 Euro penalty for racism .

Huelva and Almeria aren't really close to Sevilla no? I've been there, takes a while to get to those cities from Sevilla. That's almost incomparable to Calderon and Bernabeu?

Or did I get you wrong?

Tbh i never visited there except once ( i know it's a shame ) and it was a long time ago .. there was no Almeria or Huelva back then .. but it's all Andalusia , CA could give us a better view if he went there in recent history

From Sevilla to Huelva took certainly more than an hour by bus.

Edit:
Google maps says Sevilla:Huelva = 90km
Almeria:Sevilla = 400+ km
Malaga:Sevilla (did that one as well since i flew to Malaga airport: 200+ km

My point is that you and Atletico are "paired" by the LFP to avoid games coinciding, the same doesn't apply with Getafe because two madrid teams have to be at home at the same time at some point in the calendar. Getafe's within the autonomous community of madrid but not the city itself (seperate ayuntamiento).

Well Almeria is 400km from Sevilla and Huelva 90km, it's like talking about Barça and Nastic de Tarragona or Valencia and Villarreal.
