Well looks like Sneijder will be another saga.. reports coming in that Sneijder decided to ditch Inter milan and fight for a place in Real Madrid . he came back to Madrid ..
wtf is going on .. so far i like the idea i want Wes to stay i'm 100 % sure he will be very useful this season
(u can be happy Sivori )
Meta only Laporta groupies say Eto'o value = zero... and that's a big load of crap u won't be able to sell it here and in this thread..

2- Trezgoal replacement is not Higuain :lol: 2 totally different players , i guess you don't watch the liga and read reports.. your trezgoal replacement WAS Huntelaar (Milan ) and your own very impressive Amauri
i know the guy is more of a second striker, i did'nt mean as a direct replacement per se :p. but someone to take trez's spot in the forward depth chart if he was sold. amauri and iaquinta are already very capable target men. after the full back situation is adressed, i'd like to see them invest in a young forward. adp and trez have lost much pace over the years. higuain looks like he ticks all the boxes.

how bout drenthe on the cheap?:party00231: i'd take anyone over molinaro, who cant cross the ball to save his life.

great showing against rosenborg beast. did'nt see the game, but the highlights looked promising.

Thanks man but as u know it's Rosenborg.. when we do it against Juve or Chelsea or Barca than i'll be happy ..
we are capable of winning games due to talents but as a team we are not there yet as unit.. CR is way out of depth still and he looks like he need 4-5 month to get grip of the Spanish liga and the way the team play ..thankfully the rest fitting in well .
Drenthe is very promising.. i was laughed upon cause i believe in the kid and thank god Pellegerini share the same view .. however if u want a good full back i believe Miguel Torres is available due to the number of full backs we have at the moment (Ramos-Arbeloa-Drenthe-Marcelo )
Higuain is a fan favorite and we consider him our boy after he came here as nobody 4 years ago and now he is growing and doing what we all hoped to do .. so hands off

mate it's got nothing to do with being a laporta groupie.

once he rejected man city, the only club willing to sign him for a big fee and pay him ridiculous wages, his value was €0.

it doesn't matter how good he was (he was still very good), he was going to leave on a free at the end of the season. so to fc barcelona his value as an asset was €0.

those are the facts, plain and simple.

now had real not inflated the market, then €46m is too much for ibra. however you DID inflate the market and these deals are not conducted in a bubble. in the context of this summers transfer situation, €46m + eto'o for ibra is a very good deal.

If u did accept an offer for zero money for Eto'o than we (i.e the world par some pro-laporta fans ) can consider Eto'o value is zero... u might as well release him ? u know his value is zero ? or put a 5 Million Euro price tag.. u know i'm sure more than 99 clubs at least are capable of paying that..
saying Eto'o value is zero and coming from u is very disappointing and put you in my eyes sadly as a groupie
.. he is not worth nothing he is worth at least 20 Million ACCORDING TO YOUR OWN OFFICIAL ZLATAN PRESENTATION FFS ...
now u are contradicting you own official press release
and that my friend is the fact the OFFICIAL FC BARCELONA FACT not what you are imagining or justifying

i'm quite neutral on the barca-real rivalry so i can say without bias that on paper the squad looks like something culled from a dream starting XI. what i'm most impressed about is'nt the big names, but the depth. some of the positions are covered with players just as good as the starters. how many club presidents would love to have someone like robben in their starting XI? even a faded RVN is better than most clubs starting strikers. in a month or two when the squad to get a feel for one another, you've got something fearsome.

thanks man.. you are correct our depth is quite remarkable however it's also a problem for those who stay on the bench for a long time.. u can usually bench a cantera (a youth players from your own academy ) but players who were bought will be unhappy..
it's a huge responsibility for Manu Pellegerini if he use it well he can have a very motivated bench with everyone giving it all to be a starter ..
it's also a big problem for the squad salaries as well .. that's why the club is looking to sell some of the highest earners in the old team (like VDV-Sneijder ) to generate cash and lower the wage bill

so... if I say he's worth 0, then I'm a laporta groupie.

even though laporta and is crew says he's worth 20m?

something doesn't add up here!

mate, it's not as simple as accepting a 5m bid for eto'o is it? firstly a club has to bid 5m and no big club will pay for a player now when they can get him for free in a year, and everyone that would pay wouldn't be big enough for eto'o!

he was happy to sit and run his contract down and then have the pick of clubs. what part of that don't you get? even once we had agreed things with inter look how long it took the guy to agree to everything! he's a very stubborn man, ol' samuel.

end of the day, it wasn't wasted money. we signed him for €19m (?) and got 5 goal-laden years out of him, won 3 leagues, 2 CL's, a bunch of cups, and then when he started acting up we used him as a makeweight to lower the price of arguably the most technically outstanding striker in the world.

all in all, seems pretty swell to me.

Meta my man.. you club say he is worth 20 officially .. all u cules are trying to do is find a way to say " oh look we didn't spend like Madrid " u did end of story ,Eto'o is worth money and has a value

is gago on the chopping block? it seems like one source says he's staying, and another says he's on the market. from the few madrid games i've seen last season, he looked absolutely useless. literally just walking around in the middle of the pitch, shipping out occasional passes. he's quite good at impersonating redondo mannerisms, but horribly fails at channeling redondo ability. i think a change of scenery would do this kid a world of good.

make us an offer and he is yours..he is not good on this level.. he need a mid-table side.. i really hope we ship him out very doon

ok beastie, whatever you say.

no it's actually what the world and your club say... ;)

confirmed on the radio and AS-Marca.. Sneijder decided to stay in Madrid and block his move to Inter.....so good to hear

The whole team looked like that last season par Higuain who knew where the goal was, and the closest way to get there.

Gago was very exposed in a high tempo league and against very strong opponents physically. His own country man and the man in charge dislikes him and he might very well be out the door, either now or in the winter break.

I'd like to see him in Inter, but Mourinho is rarely the type of coach who has a knack for developing players, even Capello is better at that. So he'd be a wasted talent. He has game, he has the talent, but his game solely depends on his teammates off the ball running and physical strength. Technically he has a long way to develop and that is his biggest problem, something not acceptable in the most technical league in the world.

Eto'o is worth money and has a value
But you buy contracts in se, not the player. His contract was quite ... rubbish. It is the same for Ribery, now you have to pay 80+ mil. Next year it lowers to 20 mil? Player is still the same.

If Laporta had shut his freaking mouth we could have said Eto'o is worth 50 mil and make Ibrahimovic the most expensive player out there. But it doesn't change Eto'o's contract run out which is the only thing that generates money, not the player's qualities.

I honestly don't think any club would have paid 20 mil for Eto'o if you can get him for free next year (or even in the winter?).

I think you'll find we used eto'o, whose value to us was €0, to get a world-class striker for €46m which is well below the market price set by real's purchase of CR.
lol, last season's top scorer's value is 0?

And 46M is too much for Ibra, you even gave a striker of similar quality on top. Anyway, don't feel like doing the whole Ibra debate all over, just interesting to see cules are still as delusional as ever regarding their transfers.
