so basically

wesley came back, said he wanted to fight for his place.

real said no, you'll be a sub.

so he's off to inter.

hrm, seems like top-class players WON'T be happy to sit on real's bench!

who'da thunk?!

Nobody, besides City was prepared to pay shit since he could be attained on a free at the end of the season. Of course Eto'o had a value to Inter but not one that they would have been prepared to pay if Zlats hadn't been targetted by Barca. Therefore shut up and look at the transfer as 45ME+ Samu (and whatever Hleb compensation we paid) or I will kill all of you.

In terms of Eto'o's value I will say his goalscoring record is a factor to place him in high regard but a temperamental, 28 year old who's game relies hugely on his pace and has had 2 serious knee injuries will not be on the same level as other players of that pedigree.

A lot of clubs were willing to take Samu but for the right price .. don't ask for 35 Mil in for a player in his last year of contract and say nobody but City was willing to take him..the correct sentence should be
" Nobody but City was willing to get milked and pay 35 Million for a player with one year left in his contract"
So what you are saying is a load of bullshit that u can only find in a stable that's wasn't cleaned for 12 years

lol.. you would love that... it'll make your imaginary scenario in the other thread true

Sorry to break your balls with a nutcracker but it was ;
Real said no , there is no place for you in the team , if you stay you'll be out of the CL squad as well so take the offer and go

Safe to say Madrid messed up with their Barca Dutch imitation... Not unlike a Burberry polo shirt at the Chinese market.

:D well they got 1 liga *won't count Capello one " and u can't really blame them for losing last year trophy.. u'r team was great.. they did what they can

Heheh fair enough. And you still have some Dutchies so maybe not all hope is lost... Tbh I was really disappointed when we got rid of all our Dutch players and staff. And there was a migration to Madrid after

It's really sad to see it end this way , especially that those who left so far are the 2 dutchies i highly rate .
tbh they did very good for Real sadly the current change and climax in Real won't enable them to continue .
football taught us u can never had too much of any nationality otherwise the story end in a bad way.. Barca dutchies than Real Brazilian followed by Real dutch .
I don't think any would have believed that Drenthe would be the one staying.. :D

we still need to offload a player or two from the spanish press it looks like VDV (of course ) and Miguel Torres (due to big number of full backs available )
Torres leaving means the LB position will be purely attacking one , it's up to Arbeloa to prove his worth considering Ramos will have a long time before joining the squad after missing the entire pre-season to injuries

one can assume it means they have secured Ribery.. but when is the question.
if it's next summer than we shot ourselves in the foot considering Robben recent form

Is it confirmed?

I was thinking about Ribery too, but this is too much. Ribery isn't that big of an upgrade considering Robben.

lol that's a surprise move, didn;'t expected that to happen at all. But I already said he could be the next one. Ribery could play a major part in this transfer(next season).

Robben could be the next one(I think he stays though). Apparently Valdano was told by Perez to collect more money before the transfer period end.
Robben:" The club decides if I leave. It's a fact that Valdano told me I have to leave last week. But I've spoken with the trainer afterwards and he wants me to stay. I am not going to be put under pressure and if I'm still with the squad on september 1st, then everything can change.

Robben is done.. looks like there is plenty of work going on the back ground
selling Robben is a surprise after his impressive form.. but the huge surprise is the club he moved to..

one can assume we will see another arrival very soon and i mean in the next couple of days
