Don't feel like reading the page-long posts, and more so replying with one, since it's late at night (and I'm not normally this ignorant) so I'll just say that no matter the financial circumstances of the deal, Ibra will eventually prove himself to be worth the money and that will be the end of the story. Barca criticised Madrid for spending excessively on multiple counts, whereas Barca have done so once, so you can see that the criticism still is fair. But as gigantic clubs both should have the right to spend as much as they want within their own allowances, thats their own business. If Real want to put themselves into ever-lasting debt troubles, then all the better for me. And if Barca do, well that will be sleepless nights for the rest of my life.

For Barca Samu was worth nothing. For Inter he was worth €20mil. It all depends which side of the fence you are on.
If you have something that is of value to someone else then it is of value to you as well. You're probably just taking the piss anyway, you're too smart to not get it.

i would have kept eto for the last year of his contract and let him walk for free at the end of the season. we got 2 CL and 3 ligas out of him and that is good enough for me.

as far as I can tell eto was worth 50 mill because he is a top 3 striker in the world. and whenever a player goes to another team he signs a new contract anyway. so for me the ibra deal was the worst ever in barca history due to the money we paid and the loss of eto.

When you're both billionaires, a Lamborghini is a Lamborghini, a Ferrari is a Ferrari, a Bugatti is a Bugatti and a Toyota is a piece of trash.

catch my drift?

So sad he left.. kinda understand they need the money and to cut the wage bill still i really like the Dutch Wizard ,
He was super fantastic in the first year and during the Euro.. fucking Arsenal bitches and their injury to Wes ruined him all last season .
at least he is moving to a team i follow in serie A .. best of luck Wesley .. u'll always have a place in Madridistas heart..
last polls in Marca & AS indicated 86 % of Madrid fans wanted him to stay

15 + 3 variables ..

it'll be interesting to use them in football manager, even if i might field a ''weakened'' side when they play barca :p

Robben could be the next one(I think he stays though). Apparently Valdano was told by Perez to collect more money before the transfer period end.
Robben:" The club decides if I leave. It's a fact that Valdano told me I have to leave last week. But I've spoken with the trainer afterwards and he wants me to stay. I am not going to be put under pressure and if I'm still with the squad on september 1st, then everything can change.
