No, he definitely said "they have too many overrated youth players like Pedro, Busquets and Bojan. Very mediocre players that are lauded by virtue of playing for Barca and nothing more."

While I do think Pedro is probably not THAT player, he scores this season ion every competition, and plenty, not being a starter. Bojan might be overrated but he is 19 ffs. And then Busquets ... I think his previous year just says enough. If you call that mediocre, I have no idea what you expect from a bench player tbh.

Yes I do believe Busquets is overrated, I don't see anything in him that makes him any better than a great many other midfielders playing in La Liga. But he's at Barca, and that automatically creates a hype, a tag of being the next big thing. I certainly haven't seen anything to suggest that he will be.

Anxiously waiting for the next match
he is a def mid what do u want to see him do other then tackle people win headers and link play for us he never gonna dribble past people and score but he is a good passer of the ball and holds the ball well
there is a reason why he is in the national team

ik he makes mistakes but he is still young and will grow a lot as a player

(he started in the champions league final and did very well that has to count for something also)

If a "mediocre" player can do what he did to the best that Seria A has to offer then we really shouldn't bother buying better players.

Same for Pedro then!

Anyway, Madrid needs to sell Granero back to Getafe. Come on, you don't use him anyway but as a small team, I usually play with getafe in my videogames so I need him back at Getafe!

damn it, i can't keep up ...well, as it stands, granero will first be starting tonight as replacement for lass. should be interesting to see him play in the center next to xabi alonso.

i read about that hungarian kid real are claimed to be wathing. not a bad idea to fix the LB/RB spot. while i really like arbeloa on the left (despite prefering "lefties" on the left instead of switching an RB to the left side), it's quite a risk. if one of ramos or arbeloa gets injured, there is only marcelo & drenthe to step in. neither player convinces as LB.
however, i'm quite skeptical about a 20y old hungarian kid playing in the dutch league is the solution to that problem.

on a sidenote, MARCA, despite yesterdays WC draw, decided to dedicate their frontpage to cesc fábregas...claiming, that pérez is preparing a 50m € offer for the spanish playmaker. it's claimed cesc will leave arsenal this summer and while reals priority is to strenthen their midfield, there is no better player than cesc.
BS or truth??? actually i would expect something like that during boring periods, like international break...but that's currently not really the case, so...???

Big match up next in Valencia.
Btw. when they finish this match Real Madrid will complete their toughest away games of the season after only 14 rounds. (counting the traditional big 6)
Sevilla
Atletico
Villarreal
Barcelona
Valencia

Something to worry about, or be happy with (if you're a Madrid fan)? Barca only had Valencia away so far.

to me Madrid cant beat decent sides (Barca, sevilla, valencia, depor) away from the bernabeu. this is the difference Barca come through when it matters or at least get a draw. Madrid would have lost in el riazor today....

problem is as well Madrid have about 4 players(RVN, Gago, Van der vaart, metzelder) that want to leave because they dont get chances. at least players like pedro,Bojan, marquez arent moaning that they arent 1st choice.
