No one is calling for Raul to play , not even down the streets of Madrid.
indeed...which hopefully will prevent pellegrini from starting him!!!
Piss poor before the second half those 4 goals can give the required confidence ..it's down to confidence not lack of finishing
confidence sure is one factor, but i disagree that it's the let's say "only" one...just look at the strikers that are currently available (ruud injured and as good as gone)...
- raul is more running around like a headless chicken than he is in position for finishing
- benzema is missing easy ones like a habit during the (so far) season
- higuain is the best bet in the striker department, but when it comes down to his finishing/1 on 1 you never know what you get. one time it's brilliant and in the next moment you have no idea how a player of his caliber could miss a chance like that AGAIN. he's still a regular on missing easy chances.
and players like kaká & cristiano need a bit more time to score regular. one due to adaption and the other due to just being back from injury.
it's not like the finishing was just a problem yesterday against almeria in the first half.
Pellegrini is such a weird guy:
"His double booking was fair because he took his shirt off and because he was involved in a series of fouls. He is nevertheless a creative player who doesn't deserve to be sent off; other players make many more fouls and never see a red card."
Last weekend Real was better in every aspect of the game, now Ronaldo doesn't deserve to be sent off because he is a creative player (although he calls the double booking fair?), what's next?
it's more like he doesn't deserve to be sent off compared with other players making more fouls and get away with it. like the almeria player he kicked...no one seems to care about that one punching cristiano on the back of his head, cause he got frustrated by cristianos circus tricks the moment before. he got nothing for that, it's not even got meantioned.
