Kevin i believe the first half was really really bad , they came out not looking for a win but looking to stop Messi and hopefully create a counter attack and catch Barca off guard, you can't have that approach @ home for a club like Real Madrid .
it wasn't even tactics it was just pressure of the situation , it's like they never played Barca before .

even the first half Barca were restrained , it's one of the worst classico's i've seen in recent years probably on the same level as the classico in camp nou last year

I don't think it was great football, but I was pointing to Real's attitude. And I don't think there was anything wrong with that. Most players look very agressive and ready to take Barcelona on. But it resulted into tackles, some distance shots and not so good football.

After the break it was different to me. Real players weren't that willing to take them on anymore, I would say it was because Barcelona was coming into the game and scored in the first half ...... but with Lyon the same happened while you were in front. So as I said in the match thread: I can't figure out why Real seem to shut down after the break.

It was the same versus Sevilla at home, but Real turned it up after the 0-2. Even that didn't happen here (nor Lyon), so I blame that one on Sevilla.

I think Balague (and me ) meant taking the game down as in finish off the opponent (as in score goal and finish the game ) not finish off as in WWE

we created almost nothing except Xabi shot and followed by Higuain run Kevin

45 minutes of nothing , in the second half we were more into the game especially when Guti came in , we have the VDV chance, CR chances and FK , Raul disallowed goal ..

i think that's what he meant

I don't know Viva , being a great manager is something and being a great player is something else .

character plays a role , u must be a great leader (IMO ) to be a great manager .. the last great leader i've seen in the club was Fernando Hierro , Manolo Sanchez isn't even interested in being anywhere near a football managerial job he is happy writing for Marca as a jorno

yep Ryan , Guti is brilliant coming as a sub he is an excellent playmaker and can read the game quite well from the outside which can make him a future manager material but he is way too eccentric he could be another Schuster

Perez to his credit was pretty good this year and you can't point a finger .

he let the team run without interfering and reinforced every department

although i still can't believe he wants u to win the CL in SB

To br fair to Perez, he said that he would prefer that Barca won the CL and Madrid win La Liga, but that was before the match in a joint press opp with El Diablo (Laporta).

salgado is a magnificent pundit, but could he be a good manager? who knows.

he's not gonna want the team that KO'd real (lyon) or teams led by his rejects robben and sneijder to go and make him look like a spanner by winning the CL in his own back yard.

Salgado is a very lovable character and a funny guy , but managers need more than that

It's a problem of creation not finishing Kevin , last night pressure got the best of them but Higuain already can surpass Ruud best season with Real and he is 11 years younger and faster .
the amount of goals scored is huge and i don't see anything Ruud could have add except experience and even that we have Raul .

Benzema will either his time to adapt or be sold (but i think it will be the former ) and don't forget Real still can get Negredo
