Well the people over here have a proverb that literally say " the news which cost you money today , will be free tomorrow " so i guess we are bound to see what he will do very soon unless the situation inside the club change cause it's 50/50 now regarding the decision to hire him

however if he do what he did in the last year of his Chelsea team .. look no further than Capello and he is a Madridista .. look what happened to him .. even cool ass Capello gave our fans the birdy so go figure what will loud mouth Mourinho do when he receive the same treatment

Certainly going to be interesting if Mourinho ends up at Madrid. I'll admit, I think he is the top coach in world football. However, he also has an ego and there is a very big chance that it would clash with the ego's of several players in the Madrid squad. One thing is for sure though, its going to get very interesting!

No I'm not being serious  I honestly think they could turn out to be a deadly combo, well not just Ronaldo but Mourinho and the entire team

Just observing that people widely believed to have two of the biggest egos in football would be together on the same team

You serious? What would make Ronaldo and Mourinho clash? Or are you throwing accusations?

well the fact that mourinho cussed ronaldo's upbringing, basically calling him an uneducated island idiot?

the fact that for years mourinho sent his teams out to hack and foul ronaldo to put him off his game?

or how about that mourinho loves team-players that track back and work their cocks off for the side, and while ronaldo works like a dog it's 90% for his own benefit, and he's notoriously shit at defending and such things?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again ... Mourinho will get Cristiano to track back, play for the team, and improve his game ... either that or Cristiano will find himself on the bench. Mourinho is the only manager in the world who has the balls to put Cristiano in his place. even the great Sir Alex Ferguson, the man who threw a shoe at the most famous footballer in the world, let Cristiano get away with absolute murder. The reason why Cristiano is the way he is mirrors the same reasons why spoiled brats are the way they are; namely, they have parents who do not discipline them. Nobody disciplined Cristiano. Mourinho will. and f**k me if the petulant little bitch won't be better off for it.

The truth is it's not a matter of playing attractive football it's a matter of getting the result... I would be more happy if Barca won everything even if it took playing ugly football rather than playing attractive/entertaining football 24/7 and losing here and there. Mourinho focuses on winning and he'll do anything to get there... almost LITERALLY anything. The man has a very competitive mindset. Once mourinho comes to madrid, it will be a true test for barca.... and the success will be even sweeter :)

Of all people I thought you'd know Mourinho too well Meta. Mourinho has no respect or no care for anyone else but his own players. He forms special bonds with his players and he makes them all believe they are 10 feet tall (quoting Makalele) and he makes them all believe in him and his projects. Mourinho may not be a tactical genius, but he is a genius in dealing with people and human nature. He will use everything that the world hates Ronaldo to his advantage, thats how the man has been so successful. He has turned player's weaknesses into strengths. He will make Ronaldo believe that he is even ten times the player he is, he will get him to believe that Ronaldo can destroy the world on his own and he will make him track back because Ronaldo will feed on Mourinho's words.

I wish I had Mourinho as my coach when I was playing soccer, he would have protected me from critisim, he would have disciplined me into my roles, he would make me believe I can win 50/50 chances all the time and he would make me feel 10 feet tall too.

Ronaldo has every ingredient to be a Mourinho type of player and this would be a match made in heaven me thinks. They both think alike, and behave alike. Ronaldo will be protected by Mourinho and he will relish that. You said it Meta, Ronaldo works like a dog, Mourinho loves that and he will build on from there. Ronaldo has been seen defending from the front, so no reason for Mourinho to not use that.

I agree with you there except i don't think Mourinho will allow Ronaldo to 'murder' to get away with it.

question to the Madridistas:

if Mou plays defensive football vs FCB next season, not Cheslea last year or Inter this year defensive, but defensive/counter-attacking football ... would he be run out of town? would he even be able to run?

I ask this hypothetically, because when I advocated for us signing him before Pep I said that he is S-M-R-T enough to adapt to his situation, and I feel that having a team w/ Kaka and Cristiano at the attacking core would lean his tactics towards attacking football more then defensive football.

well, considering that more than 60% don't want mourinho and those who do want him, basically only want him, when pellegrini really doesn't stay, i'd say this looks likekly to be the case. i don't see him staying more than 2 seasons at max!!!

not to meantion that i still don't completely believe pérez & valdano will ignore all the polls where pellegrini is fan favorite to stay and mourinho is not wanted.
madridistas love beautiful football and pellegrini brought that along with 95pts and 101goals - figures, which in 99% of all seasons would have meant winning la liga. changing this for mourinhos style of play doesn't make sense, nore does it reflect the clubs footballing philosophie. being trophyless this season, with an almost completely new squad, is just not enough to give up the beautifull football IMO.

meanwhile however, the rumors continue...with AS claiming that mou wants tévez and is asking for absolute power in sporting matters. whereas MARCA claim, mou is interested in signing lampard for real madrid.

duh...i hope this coaching disaster ends soon with the club ruling in favor of stability, meaning pellegrini.

Its not La Liga that you were after. It was CL and Pelligrini failed huge there.

well, yes...but failed huge??? i honestly did not expect any trophie this season because of the massive changes pérez & valdano brought to the club - players especially. the CL is just a whole diffrent level to play at. you need to grow a team, a unit first before you can really go places in the CL. baring the changes in mind, the CL this year was definitly too early to be seriously considered a possibilty IMO.

so, getting kicked out in the first KO round again, debatable...but not winning the CL a failure??? not IMO tbh. not with the current teams level.

stability and further improvement is what will get real madrid further in the CL...mourinho would be a few steps back until he formed the team according to his wishes. why give up on this seasons work???

But that go against you previous post some time ago about how CR need a strong man to make him work hard for the team like SAD did ?

well SAF did and yes i agree with your post that's why i said we need "Mourinho character " unless Capello option rise up .. very good post Irv

True

Nando .. Tevez yes .. i anticipated this some time ago here especially if some names are heading City way ..
however a Tevez and Higuain is stupid.. only one of them :(

Lampard i doubt it for couple of reasons one of them is Chelsea don't like doing business with Mourinho at all
