I said it yesterday to Meta actually: Chelsea has become more likeable since Mourinho has left, but they still have the smell and feel of shitheads. It's the same with Inter now I think.

And real does give a lot of value of their status? You will maybe win (he couldn't pull it off to win a CL with Chelsea, Mourinho has pulled it off getting to the finals in the years the CL's greats are sulking) but it will be a hefty price you pay imo.

we don't care about that, you will hate us even if mother teresa is coaching Real , success and rivalry will ensure that between rivals
you or Meta will just hate the next team that defeat you so it doesn't really matter if the team name is Inter , Real , Espanyol,United ,Atletico or Chelsea ..
you all done that in recent seasons which is something unique for cule's you don't see us hate Lyon for example or Liverpool ..etc so in short it's not taken into consideration tbh

it's the others that we care about hence why with all the courting he is giving Real and all the success Mourinho didn't make the approval polls beyond 53 %
sadly the other available option is Rafa .. unless the English be nice & manage to kick Capello out we are in for a dark summer + what's going on atm inside the club

vidic's positioning is superb, though. it has to be, his recovery pace isn't top-class.

he's just a very physical defender who often treats ball and man as one entity to be cleaned out. this makes him brilliant in the PL, and he'd be brilliant in calcio too, but in la liga I reckon it'd be his undoing. I mean, we all saw how easily eto'o gave him the slip in rome. but I dunno, maybe he'd prove me wrong. he is an incredible CB, proven at all levels, it's just whether or not he's suited to la liga. you could at least give him his favoured number 5, though.

what sort of fee are you looking at for vidic?

and piqué is a phenomenal defender. I think when sprinting at top-speed he's a lot quicker than you'd think, because I don't think he runs at top-speed a lot. his recovery pace is absurd (it gives me hope for chygrynskiy because piqué wasn't this fast in recovery when he arrived with us). and the way he handles CR is incredible. the only others who have handled him so well are cashley and assou-ekotto.

Vidic would be completely a European move. He would flirt would disaster in La Liga but for Europe he'd add major strength.

Recorvery pace is when Vidic is running back to close up the space on a counter attack or if he is caught on the back foot.

Mourinho isn't all that bad, I feel Real Madrid have been very soft since Schuster and we need the old Real Madrid mentality of having to destroy teams in the first half not have to come back. This whole come back kings has been nothing more than an emotional story that reflects our passion for our past. Its good, its not great.

Plus, Mourinho isn't all that bad, with the players at his disposal he will play nice football. What stains his reputation is the time he spends on uniting the team and setting up the defensive lines but from the three teams he managed, 2 were defensively in shambles. The one team that was strong in defense actually played very nice in the second year after they became champions for the first time.

No, that's not true. I don't like Real, but that's easy to explain. I don't like United, also easy to explain. I absolutely don't like Espanyol, just too obvious. I absolutely don't like Inter for various reasons, just like Chelsea. I absolutely don't like Arsenal, ... but not for beating Barcelona. It reinforces the feeling, definitely, but defeat won't be the only reason. I don't dislike Rubin Kazan, nor Atletico. I will be pissed at those teams for beating us but I was heavily cheering Atletico yesterday ........

And yeah, that's what I meant about the image. Mourinho suited Chelsea or Inter. IMO Real is the most Mouriholike club of Spain though .... but the football and way of going to the media influences an image more than silverware. That's where it differs with Chelsea and Inter I think.

inter do play nice football, in general. it's a bit petty to suggest otherwise.

the thing with them (and all mourinho teams) is they are massively results-orientated. however shittily they have to play to get a win, if it means getting a win, they will do it.

this tends to make them awful to watch in big games against opponents on their level.

what will be interesting if jose comes to reial is who he signs as CF. jose loves a CF. and there's no way moratti will let milito go, so who would he go for? maybe dzeko...

Inter don't play that nice Meta, maybe 5-6 time a season, their play is quite boring IMO.

admittedly it's not top-level awesome, but it's not bad.

they are like a souped-up version of mourinho's chelsea, though. it's quite funny.
