2009 - pre construction bomb. His companies wealth is tied to 4 skyscrapers they built in Madrid and now can't find occupants for.
nothing to be glorified ......it`s the business & itz the way it should be ......
question is , how much for the charity ?
He don't spend from his personal wealth of course , but he use his connections and financial muscle
Like Berlusconi wealth then? You see he dropped alot to since the crisis, also for money tied up in construction. Perez is in hot water Gio, being the 3rd biggest construction company is no blessing when the Spanish economy is in a construction crisis - believe me I know. The company is tied to the 4 towers they built at the cost of billions during the boom, and now finished can't find occupants for. His wealth is tied to his stake in that company, hence why he had to go to Banco Santander for his latest splurge. It's his personal wealth not his company wealth Sergio
and no they are not tied to 4 skyscrapers , you do know they are on the biggest construction companies in the world .. no 3 world wide if i remember correctly
Caja Madrid
Perez wealth is unquestionable, i think he's the richest man in spain. He's a great bussiness man, but his football knowledge is very limited. He's the visible head of the club, but he doesn't get involved in much, leaving all football-related work to his board.
In other news, Real madrid's board has postponed sacking manu. After a board meeting, to which Valdano did not attend, it was decided that the decision of weather to sack him or not would have to wait until next meeting (24th of May).
In my opinion, there are two reasons why the decision has not been taken: 1. Not everyone thinks mourinho is the perfect substitute. In fact, members of the board and a big part of the fanbase think Mourinho would mean the start of a new project instead of the continuation of the current one. 2. Madrid wants to have an agreement with his succesor (Mourinho) before sacking Manu. Given that Madrid can't negotiate officially with mourinho before CL final, it'll have to wait till next week
