Cant say ive seen to much of Di Maria to be honest. Must be a cracking prospect.

He's a great prospect, but not a 35 million euro prospect. I've always said a player's value should have some sort of relation to other transfers. Taking that in mind: How can you pay 35 million euros for a (generally) unproven player when Bayern payed 25 millions for Robben, Inter 15 or Sneijder. How can Di maria be worth as much as Silva? As much as Alves? As much as Benzema (at the time best player in his league)? As much as Tevez?

Di maria would be a great purchase if the cost was 15-20 million, we don't need to dish out 35 million euros on a prospect when we already have enough prospects of our own.

so far this is just the usual BS-talk of the papers, with regards to the ibra-madrid issue. the torres to barca part i think is reliable to a certain extend.

But so was Benzema, and french league is (slightly) more prestigious than the Portuguese one. What about the rest though? Alves, Tevez, silva, robben? Do you believe Di Maria to be on the same level?

the problem is its not about being on the same level anymore there is so much more to it, Like marketing ability for a player and that.. Angel Di Maria is young and a HUGE name at the moment and the transfer market is a diff world each summer with the billions of cash coming into the global game... I rate him 30 mill in the current day market but i think the world cup will decide for sure how much the bloke is worth

I think u are underating him a little he dominated Everton in Europa league which is one of the top ten EPL teams he is fantastic playerand is improving

Argentina has Higuain, Tevez, Messi, Aguero and diego milito, is it really far-fetched for them to play with 2 forwards and two of the previously mentioned on the wing?. In my opionion, all 5 are ahead of di maria for a position on the starting 11.
