don't focus on numbers because they don't matter. mourinho is exactly what a team like real ideally would need, a manager who will do anything to make them win + great defensive thinker.rm just need additions in the back really, a team who scores 100 in the league hardly needs attacking additions. With the likes of kaka and benzema rejuvenated for next season, you won't need dzeko or milito..
beast, I don't want to piss on your chips or get involved in this arrogance debate, but as a point of clarification the only thing that stopped barca vs. kazan at camp nou was rafael marquez. both their goals came from out-of-nowhere errors from him.
that's exactly what this is.
I mean his son is a catalan!
he'd have been manager of barca but the CL has consistently drawn him against us. and he was always managing inferior sides, so the only way to beat us was to make it into a war, which meant he would be a villain to us.
but he's a winner, so he'll just get on with it.
I'm sure it'll be one of his few regrets at the end of his managerial career though.
One of Capello problems is that he had presidents who were shaky with the fans opinion , Mourinho didn't push pass the 55% on all polls even after he won the CLMourinho is Florentino's last bullet, we could say. His last means to try and beat Barcelona because he couldn't do it after just completing what is the most expensive transfer season in the history of football.
It seems to me that Florentino is what will end up burying Madrid once again. All these signings, all this ambition, and heat of the moment decisions is what will take the club down.
Mourinho may well unite the team and get them playing together, but Capello won them La Liga back in 2007 and that wasn't good enough because of the lack of entertaining football.
I don't see it lasting. And I think The Special One is a great manager. One of the best. He just knows how to coach. But within Real Madrid. From the front office to the fans, to the team there's too much of a lack of unity I feel. Too many egos. And the biggest one of them all is Florentino.
Thats gonna be tough.

You consider it arrogance that I state our achievements and facts about the teams we've beaten over the last few years? Ok than I guess that makes me arrogant. If I'm not mistaken you went so far as to predict RM will be ahead in Clasico ties next season. What do you consider that? :icon_confused:There is no confidence in your words Pepe, it's pure arrogance and disrespect to football
the only thing that can stop Barca is a better tactical team , U played Rubin Kazan twice and couldn't buy a win ffs
yes you won 6 trophies but last year not this year .. a feature Inter is almost there is doing (they already won the major ones ) .. so are they run of the mill so-so team ?
English is not my first language but what you are demonstrating is arrogance , some humility will do you good
It's ironic that a RM fan is telling me to show some humilty. With Mourinho as their coach even. That's rich.

Maybe Mourinho change is attitude... (I don't think so...)
What you wrote about Kazan is not any different than what Pepe wrote ..
guess Marquez was the main culprit for all evils this season , the block to win another treble
As if Pique & Puyol were fault free this season or how you destroyed Kazan in Kazan ..
i just hope Pep will get some of that arrogance .. sadly he is down to earth not like some of you

Disrespect to football? Wow that's reaching. I don't even know what to say to that...
Inter was a very solid team and very skilled, but are they a better team than Barca? Not by a long shot. You call defensive boring ass football tactics all you want but you and I both know who the best team in the world is.
what the fuck are you talking about?
did you even READ what I said?!
I wasn't talking about the whole season or making any grand statement.
you said that when we came up against a tactical side like kazan we failed.
I merely pointed out the fact that we only failed at home because marquez fucked up twice. out of nowhere. that's where their goals came from and that's how they beat us. had marquez not fucked up twice, we'd have likely (can never know, of course) won the game.
I wasn't talking about the match in kazan, where they played a great game to hold us 0-0.
I wasn't talking about piqué or puyol.
I wasn't even talking about rafa's season.
I was talking about one game and why it is a poor example for you to use in your argument.
you've been really grouchy this last week or so, accusing culés of being arrogant and all that.
relax, man.
Hey I believe and accept all facets of how teams want to play. I admire teams who out think other teams. I admire teams playing 5 at the back or 5 in midfield to stifle the opposition as their ability is not as good as their opponents if they go head to head with them.
Kazan were brilliant over two legs it didn't matter who played , it's not like Pique didn't make several mistakes or Puyol ..
but god forbids a team get credit for beating Barca these days
