I actually wish him all the best mate. On Real Madrid tv, it showed a programme about him returning to Portugal. He does seem a very grounded and genuine bloke.

as far as i read, it was never a question of getting both! therefore 80m € is enough to get one of them.

personally i think, that if it has to be one of those two, i'd say gerrard would have the better options to adapt due to xabi alonso.
but i don't want him for the reason i already meantioned beofre.

negredo...i know he had a quite shitty season, but IMO benzema is not the phisical, powerfull type of striker mourinho likes to use. benzema too much higuaín with a little overweight.

btw...with regards to city, VDV, gago & higuaín. as far as i know, those 50m € were the offer for all three players! therefore, no 90m € or something in case that deal would have come true. now i think, with higuaín being nontransferable - for now - the deal might be around 35-40m € for gago & VDV.

be that as it may...there is VERY STRONG rumors that david silva is signed. it could be announced very soon officially.

damn valencia for if that price is right.

You'll probably get Gerrard for £15m

Seeing as Madrid like to screw us i.e. Mcmanaman and Owen I expect to see a far less monetary offer than what is expected.

Saying that Madrid paid the full worth for Alonso, so we shall see.

No one will pay £50m euros or pounds for Higuain. Not even City.

I think Higuain's true value is nearer £30m tbh. Plus I believe Di Maria has the potential to be the best in his position in the world - so I'd pay that little bit extra to get him -, Higuain won't be the best in his position now or in the future imo. But he is top quality without a doubt and if I was Madrid I'd keep him.

forget the fact that you'd have to pay MORE than you did for ronaldo, he's just too english to settle anywhere else.

plus because he's english, he won't see reial as a step up from united like most people would do. united or liverpool would be as big as it gets for him, and being a blue, he hates liverpool.
