Mourinho knows what he's doing when he's going for experience. He's looking to win now at any cost.

It's the exact opposite to the way Wenger does things.

Which is the way things are all the time @ Real .. however with the average age of the team is young he can add some experience
I wouldn't want to be in Arsenal shoes tbh , Wenger style won't fit in Barca or Real.. forget stability of Barca .. put the Catalans in a situation where they are trophy-less for 2-3 years and they will be as a aggressive as us

i don't see Mourinho having a "long term plan" at Real, he will leave after 2-3 to go back to England IMO, he wants the United job, thats why he said he doesn't want Rooney because he's does not want to get into bad relations with Sir Alex which means he is unlikely to get the job.

To be fair, he aint got any other option! time and real madrid, like any colossal club, do not go together.

Agree , the reason Frank stayed is the massive unbelievable improvement in the second part of the season + we ended below you ..
when things get rough for 2 years heads started to roll
During your 5 years drought it was the same
it will always be like this with Barca & Real the pressure in the two clubs is way way bigger than any other club in Europe

You will see , Jose won't go to where he will always be second best ..
if you think Jose will live in SAF shadow you underestimate the man's ego you , Meta & others fell for his psycho routine vs Unites
..look @his previous choices , all clubs needed a hero .. he won't /will never get that after SAF.. needless to say when did United hired a non-British manager ?

The only reason that United haven't appointed a foreign manager is because it wasn't the norm back when they appointed rednose. Football has changed since then. They will want the best coach no matter what.

I agree with Gio, after fergie they want someone to follow in his traditions of bringing through the youth. Moyes is the obvious one, but we shall see.
