judging from what's claimed in the press, it's about wether VdV is leaving or staying, not kaká.

there's a diffrence between actual complaining and naming the reason why the interest in david luiz has been dropped.
i know...the asking price went up when city offered some 33m €. they had their offer rejected and now benfica is asking for 40m €.

I'm not an expert on R. Madrid but could they end up lining up like this...

I really dont think they need him. after watching Canales today Im more than convinced that his style is identical to that of Ozil. he's also younger and Spanish, maybe he doesnt have the same potential as Ozil but sometimes huge potential and big expectations ruin your career, just ask Saviola and Owen.
PS Im not saying that Canales had a great game today, Im just talking about his style of play.
I think at the beginning Jose will risk it and play with Benzema instead of Higuain, if it worked then he'll have 2 great striker to rely on, if it didn't then he'll have only one.
Im not convinced with the Ramos/Pepe partnership, it will be a huge gamble to start with them. they're both stupid, they need at least one of them to be smart.

judging by what is flying around, this is anything but the end for lass & gago. momo looks like the choosen one to be out, despite MARCA recently claiming, he'd be the 3rd captain behind casillas & ramos. rumors have it, that jose is counting on lass, as well as on gago. jose is even said to have rejected a 20m (€/pounds? can't remember) offer from man city.
so, all things considered (like the above and the extrem low budget this summer for transfers) it looks like the midfield is done with momo out and khedira in.
i agree with regards to özil. having kaká or VdV plus canales as playmakers is just enough. i hope they fail to sign him.
word is, for some time now, that benzema is joses no.1 choice for the striker position. so yes, the season will almost certainly start with benzema as the starting striker and higuain on the bench. unless benzema keeps worrying jose with his attitude, having his mind elsewhere.
the squad looks like done, with the exception of the defense. therefore, it's hard to tell how the back 4 will be looking or could look like.
that's one of the reasons why i think, that pedro león will be starting over di maría. him on the right and cristiano on the left. baring also in mind, that from the begining of joses arrival, it was reported he would play cristiano on the left.

Could be, for me it really comes down to Di Maria there, he is the question mark to me. If he can improve on his defensive duties (that didnt look too awesome for argentina during this WC) it could work out. Otherwise i can easily see him being kicked out of the starting 11 in favor of Marcelo. He seems more like a typical Mourinho player.
Or he replaces Kaka with a workhorse kind of player, that allows the wingers more off-time from defensive duties. Either he buys someone or he could possibly play Khedira there too.

the kid is overrated , i always said the same thing .. he is good but not 35 or even 25 mil good.. his skill worth 15 mil .
damn those English media who overrated his value after his goal in United , if he was just a backup striker and not expensive striker he would probably play well and be on the expected level of him .
Character , it's all about character .. clubs should learn from the way Lyon buy their players.. they look to the player character first ahead of his skill
