Its sad to see players like Benzema, because you can tell he has the chance to propel himself to the next stage, but just lost within himself....As much as Benz has better technique on the ball and stronger and quicker than Gonzalo, you can still see Gonzalo going to out-perform him where ever it might be.

It would have been interestin if Gonzalo chose to play for France, what would have happened.

I wonder how long it would take Mou to try and motivate Benz before giving up! His presence only has one benefit... Boosting Higuains confidence! He is still young and I dont see the point of selling him, 35 million dare I say isnt much nowadays... Berbatov cost almost the same and still yuet to busrt a sweat.

I propose keep him on the bench if he doesnt perform until he starts been a distracting influence in the camp then give him the boot and maybe force a pay cut along the line, harsh as it might seem.

Man City have too many players to comply with the new EPL squad rules, so if Madrid are counting on them coming in to buy some of their players, they are very much mistaken.

Visca el filòsof!
Do you know how far out they are in terms of the numbers? The EPL system is quite misleading because it's not the same as La Liga's squad limit which is a straight limit of 25 + B team players, the EPL says it's 25 over a certain age and the x amount more of youngsters.

25 players over 21 years old. Of that 25, 8 must be 'home grown' products, i.e. they have to have been trained in the UK for at least three years from the ages of 18 (I think?).

Players under 21 by the start of the season do not have to be registered.

I have read a report over soccernet claiming they need to sell /release at least 10 first team players and that's before Balotelli .
they already send Garrido to Lazio so that's 1 out , 9 to go
could be a great bargain deal if some small club waited outside city gates he can take quality for peanuts

Yeah also heard of City needing to get rid of 10 players....
I think Petrov has left to Bolton that leaves Ireland as a possile quality player they might lose though, that been said he is one of their few home grown players and might have to just keep him regardless of Mancini not rating him that highly.... It would be interesting to see who leaves City and how they fare at their new clubs....

De "Karate Kid " Jong would top my list.

He is def. not leaving .. but it will be fun to see who will they pick from Yaya-barry and him in the 2 holders position

Hamburg (Ruud ) vs Schalke (Raul ) friendly.. so far Ruud is winning 1-0 with Van the man scoring :D

Raul look really off pace here still with 4 days training looking sluggish is expected

Raul is getting better , made the build up pass to the equalizer goal and missed a golden chance

I meant first teamers obv. Who the hell counts U18's? We don't have to get rid of them.

Oh yeah, soccernet, lol. That article even forgets about the financial restrictions which have been widely publicised.
