I am not giving up. I am giving my opinion. Madrid will be formidable this season with Mourinho. They will be hard to break down. There is no doubting this...

No we won't ..
we will win a title could be copa del gay

I think Barca will have problems with injuries. Xavi and Iniesta especially concern me. There is where we won't have the players to cope with all the games that are coming. If we sign Cesc, it might be different...however teams know us more. The financial situation will cause some unease. We won't be as solid in midfield relying on Busquests all year. I think these factors will hurt us.

However, if Pep can guide this team to another title, the way we held our nerve last season, credit to him and the players. This team is made of something more than just football...but it won't be easy for Barca this season. Mourinho will have Madrid playing consistent football and constantly will be in our heads. It's going to be great nevertheless!

I hope to be watching it with you this year my friend :)

Maicon didn't reach his peak in his 25s, neither did Cafu nor Serginho. Cafu was always a defender Milan would and could rely on. Quite frankly it's only the attackers who had this issue.

We will my old friend :beer2:

I stopped being that optimistic, i will always say we win the Cl every season when the time arrives but talk is easy there are many variables enter the equation like who you meet in the KO , injuries , suspensions..etc

RM will be improved. However, some Cules need to calm down and take a chill pill. We are still favourites, we have the squad that has been there and done that and brought the t-shirt recently and we are the reigning champs. This season will be a stern test for us but it will also be a stern test for Mourinho and RM.

Are you people intimidated by Mourinho and everything that happened this offseason, because that seems to me like the only reason you are saying such things (unless Barca isn't your main supported club).

I still have faith that Barca will win but anything can happen. Not just Mourinho but other curveballs like injuries etc. But I don't see how any cule can assume before the season even started that we will lose the title when we haven't even seen how potentially epic Messi/Villa will be.

Nope, im trying to be honest any way. one, I have great respect for Mournho and id go as far as saying he is the best coach in the world, certainly the most inspirational! Will he make Madrid stronger? Of course, he will. Should Barca be scared though? No. We have to believe in our strengths and the fact we have world class players in our side capable of achieving anything. So, yes, im concerned by what Mourinho could do and respect his ability but i believe in our side.

It's not about being honest or dishonest. It's about feelings you have towards the upcoming La Liga season. You are the favourites coming into both the season and the El Clasico. You have no sufficient reasons to fear your chances. Iniesta and Xavi maybe will find it hard to cope with fatigue, but hey, it was the same for over two years now and you've managed it still overcoming us. Mourinho is in the same position as Pellegrini and it's him who has to prove himself right now.

In principle Mourinho will give Real what they missed in the last few season since Hierro (than Capello ) left.
leadership and self believe .
Raul is a legend but as a leader he leads be example not by motivating others .

should be very interesting what Jose can do but i'm not expecting instant success

same here,it took him a complete year before transforming Inter into a treble winning team,I cant see Madrid winning anything this season, but I can see an Epic Madrid team for the 2011-2012 season,BTW I cant uinderstand why Cant MAdrid sign a decent LB instead of going for Maicon or for another striker.
