One big ass trophy
Look how happy they are. They know they won't see anything like it this season
One big ass trophy
@ this guy trying to convince himself Carvalho is not a good signing. Cute.
I guess Mourinho doesn't consider Lass playing RB as an emergency fix after all, beast.
so r u guys gonna buy a CB to cover for garay's injury?
regarding CBs how come no big team has made a push for lugano??
Casillas
Ramos Carvalho Albiol Marcelo
Xabi Lass
Pedro VDV Ronaldo
Higuain
Keeping the number of new players at the lowest just to take a proper look at the backbone of the team. I would honestly give the AM position to Granero and wouldn't trust the ever so complacent VDV.
Trusting Canales isn't exactly too relaxing for me. I'd keep him on the bench but coming in often.
Here is the thing: Benzima.
If that fucking asshole would get his act together in my opinion, everything would work out, but he seems hopeless. Thing is with Benzima is that inside the box, he is marvelous. Everytime he is inside the box, his ability to at least shoot the ball on target is great. Thing is with him is he tried to drag the ball but he is damn slow (funny we brought him in for speed, remember?), so if he isn't close to the net his chances are wasted. He doesn't have the tactical discipline to stay inside the box.
Man with Ronaldo and Higuain playing off of him, we could be scoring tons of goals especially that we don't play possession football. Swift attacks have done it for us and will do it for us, especially that Pedro has a wicked ability to go past players which is something I still find lacking in our team.
ronaldo goes by the most players in the league raed??
Getting too old and i don't think scouts trust him that much.. big fish in a small pond
For Benzema it's now or never .. if he don't get his act together under Jose it's over for him .. another Julio Baptista .
regarding the AM VDV is the best for the position or ... Ozil
When bursting into space, not during a patient build up. Ronaldo is a bullet, not a gun. Even when he goes past players, as soon as he does the ball is far away from him usually so he HAS to put in a pacey ball in or shot. Pedro is like Joaqin in his dribbling, he can beat a player, has the time to look up, and then make a decision.
I am not too keen on Ozil but he is a good player. I just think that until Kaka comes back, the team can go through what Mourinho always has his teams go through: refining defensive techniques and methods.
Anyone noticed last night how he had one defender put in pressure, and another to collect? It was carbon copy of Zanetti and Cambiasso on Messi. Put in pressure on a player, and he will be forced to move the ball, with another defender quickly arriving to collect the lose ball. This will take time especially with our younger back line with little experience. It worked well with Chelsea in the first season because they played super defensive football at first, and at Inter, the experience of the defenders speed things up.
Granero at least keeps the ball moving, VDV gets himself in awkward positions and is happy to shoot and miss to say at least I tried. I think Ronaldo and Higuain can carry us through with some good performances from Pedro, Canales, Di Maria here and there until Kaka comes back, who I still think has something valuable to offer.
