it's actually a shame benzema doesn't get his shit together. one thing i like aout him a lot, in comparison to higuain, is, that he does more for the team - see that cross for cristiano against bayern for example. higuain though is basically just working for himself and his goals.
something that mourinho already critizised during an interview.

i'm not keen on özil either. he strikes me as nothing but another podolski case: good up to great for the national team, but mediocre at club level up to being overstrained with playing for a big club.
özil had a rather quite last season performing wise, being often critizised for predominantly bad performances. but then along comes a good WC and he becomes the next best thing since sliced bread. i don't like those overhyped players. you read the papers, the fans statements, with the majority being 100% convinced he will perform god-like for real madrid as a starter, which he undoubtedly should be ahead of kaká, VdV and canales. özil had a hard time to perform constantly for werder bremen ffs!!!

garays injury is too bad...but i don't see any need for another signing in that department. if i remember right, pepe was reported to be recoverd for la liga start. missing 1 or 2 games at max.

He will consider every available option there is
we only have Albiol-Carvalho.. we can't play without a back up CB.. but it will be a case of Carvalho - Ramos as CB + Albiol CB sub, Arbeloa RB , Lass RB sub .. Marcelo as a LB ..
we are still low on LB subs
even when Pep comes back early Sept, he won't be ready for two/three weeks at least cause he missed the entire pre-season

I can't believe for over 30 years we haven't produced a proper CB since Manolo Sanchis.. i mean i want to kill our youth scouts

josé praised his movements as being inteligent as they open up spaces for the others, making it easier for them. there's a diffrence between that and his gameplay with the ball at his feet.

you should bet on marcelo, since he just joined the injured list, depending on further tests.
