I like to be bothered about things that we, the fans can actually have something to say or do about. We can't convince a sheikh to come to Spain and buy out Mallorca for example so why.. oh, I forgot I mentioned that bit already. Simply, stop moaning (unless you have a moaner personality which we can't do anything about either) or set a sensible target of discussion eg. I don't know, why is Oezil so overrated or something like that.Poor_Sunyol said:I am interested to hear what you consider are 'better things to be bothered about'? Could you please expand?
I didn't say I don't welcome competition or do not wish to see any competition in La Liga, don't put twist to my words. I only stated the obvious. In terms of competitiveness, La Liga is behind most European leagues simply because of the level of some clubs who are not considered title contenders, but surprisingly deliver on national or continental level eg. Fulham. It's a shame that level has to go together with competitiveness, because who wouldn't like to experience emotional ending of La Liga with 3-4 teams having 60-70 points being close together ? To raise the level, again, we have to blah blah blah.. and we have a closed circuit
And I agree on your later point, no matter how Jose ligns up the team, Madrid is still going to have 40+ goal difference, because of other clubs having rubbish defence, coaching, management, budget etc. etc. That can also worry the supporters, because you can't rely on your league form when it comes to tough battles in the CL as the level is not the same and you can still have your ass kicked. Hopefully, Mourinho will know how to motivate players and not let them get complacent between CL matches or else .. well.. you know what
