Difficult to work out anything from this match in truth. Well kick off on the weekend and then all the bullshit stops.

Whoa. That was painful and it shouldn't have been.
Benzema finally showed finishing, but he was nowhere to be seen in the middle, don't get why he tries to cut into the middle with the ball. Probably bad habits.
I really liked Khedira, Leon and Lass. These three looked very lively and didn't make many mistakes at all. Quite surprisingly I also liked Drenthe's game, nearly no mistakes, but you can still see that he hasn't got the required abilities to be a suitable LB for Madrid. Juanfran's two dribbles with ball were good too. Gago did well in defence as well.
Oezil - invisible, VdV - poor passing (except of the backheel), Granero - lost on the pitch, first few minutes looked good though, Higuain - waste, Canales - out of his depth.
Overall, decent performance but I think Jose needs to start building team's chemistry instead of trying the players out on different positions.

Decent in second half. First half was terrible. I'm not too crazy about going harsh on the team that is without chemistry and players being told to run on different positions than usually.

Fair enough it was better in the second half. I find it interesting that Jose decided to rest Casillas, Ramos, Javi Alonso and CRgay. Correct me if I am worng but wasn't tonight your last game before the start of the La Liga season?
