Benzema problem is playing the Lyon way... drifting to the left and leaving the box alone
if we can glue him in the box he will score loads.. he always frustrated me with this drifting even with France

- the intensity of training was too much in the last couple of weeks you could see in the last couple of games most players had no stamina to carry on playing for 90 minutes + those names along with Higuain are the starters so he didn't need to test them tonight , Higuain was a last minute call after Benzema was injured in training so he took Higuain as a precaution and it also explains his form tonight though i believe he played well but no 100 % committed .
Agree with Wolfe.. Drenthe was really good and there is some names who could surprise a lot of people (me included ) under Jose
good to see Di Maria score and Benz getting a brace , Lass excellent game
as well as Sami playing his best game with Real resembling the guy we saw in the WC
Things can only get better once those players have enough time to gel .. that's why Barca have the upper hand in the liga this season .

than he brought Pedro Leon as a RM and pushed Ozil in the center but for just couple of minutes in the second half .
it's clear he is testing the players potential for example today
1- played Ozil as a RM
2- Lass as RB
3- Arbeloa as CB
4- Gago as CB
5- Granero as pivot beside Khedira
6 - tried two Cantera
it's all tests

1-That makes more sense,I think that Ozil will play most of his matches with Real on the wings
2-Lass wont be bad as a RB,he played there with Chelsea(under Mourinho) and with Arsenal,if Sergio Ramos plays centrally then we may see a lot from Lass as a rightback
3-Arbeloa as a Cb is a bad idea IMHO
4-Gaga as a CB?I dont know,I need to watch him there to decide
5-Granero,I always rated him,I really hope Mourinho can find his best position,probably my favourite player in Madrid

agree with everything, except Ozil.
He has played 1 game, i think Mou was just testing him out, plus he only started training what 3 days ago? throwing him in at AM is a risk IMO. im sure Ozil will be starting as an AM once he has settled.

Indeed he was testing out new idea's .. i think his position is centralized
Arbeloa actually was not bad at all .. he is solid no risk defender and he did play as a CB with Castilla for some time , he would give Jose the option cause he is 100 % tactical player..
u tell him to mark this and that would be his 100 % job for 90 minutes no lack of concentration and with Pepe,Albiol and Garay all out for some time he must prepare alternatives whether it's the obvious first choice of Ramos-Carvalho (who is also prone to injuries ) or make shift CB pair like we saw today until the 3 CB return

His best position is centrally for sure but what will happen when Kaka returns,they also have VDV and Canales,we will see how Mourinho uses him,whether as a false winger(like the way we use Iniesta) or in his natural position
yeah,Arbeloa is underrated by many,one of the best MAdrid deals in the last 3-4 years IMHO,I think that Lassana also can play as a CB

VDV will be sold i think, Kaka is injured for 3 months and was poor last year and if not for Injury would of been playing at Stamford Bridge atm...
Canales is just a Kid and isnt ready IMO to take over the position yet. so will be used as a back up.

There is no evidence that Chelsea would have made a bid this summer if Kaka wasn't injured. That is pure guess work.
