Beast was that really necessary ? We all know where he really plays and it's obvious that he will be dragged onto that so Mourinho should use it really. No need to get into tactics so much.
Xabi was clearly given a different job to do. He can be seen close to the edge of the opponent box much more often. I only fear that such amount of work on the pitch will get him nakered throughout the season.

Is Carvalho stupid?

What really worries me is Carvalho's turning and quickness. He couldn't quite cope in any match since he came and had at least one silly hard and late tackle each game. I hope that he won't start instead of Albiol if he is going to look like that.

CR is unluckily out of his depth or maybe Mourinho finally put him in line with the team and he doesn't try to carry the team around and instead is more of a team player trying to do a job assigned to him by the coach.
