I prefer he stays Yusuf..
let him drink from Jose winning mentality instead of playing with a club surviving ..
he will get minutes and train with higher quality manager and players but he shouldn't start ahead of Ozil or VDV

CR and the team should calm the heck down. Taking this game way too seriously.

I think VdV should play instead of Canales with Di Maria on the left unless Mou will introduce Di Maria to the left and move Oezil to the middle.

Overall it doesn't look bad. Team is very lively and want to prove themselves, but we need someone to brake Penarol's defence. I hope it's going to be VdV so that everyone selling him can get lost.

He should take the game too seriously cause Jose made it clear they all should , you can see ho pissed off he was towards the end .

some good positives from the game.. Sami is awesome the defensive movements is very promising .
the problem is exactly like last game .. Canales in the center and Ozil on the left (or right )
i really want to see Ozil in the center , last game he played like 7/8 minutes..
take Canales play Pedro move CR to the left put Ozil in the center and things will be awesome in the last third

Outplayed for most of that half apart from a bright start. Very physical, you can see Jose's influence already. Canales again totally out of his depth, Ozil, Lass and Higgie looking tidy although CRgay has been terrible and we are starting to see his dark petulant side. He's probably pissed that Jose got the biggest cheer of the night when the squad was called out. I wonder how their relationship will pan out this season.

All in all, very much like the first half against Hercules but we all know what happened in the second half...

Does anyone have the possession stats for that half?
