I just noticed the post was in the first half (I'm not watching the game), so I apologize for that...
However, what I meant was that for RM playing against Peñarol is the same as playing against Nottingham Forest, they were great, but now they don't have much to show... Pretty much like us beating the Korean All-Stars, there isn't much we can conclude by those games...
Maybe it's because Madrid fans are known for giving history lessons, hehehe (friendly joke)...

Much better second half, just like the Hercules match. I wonder if that will be like Madrid's season this year? Slow start and big finish? Not much for Barca to worry about from what we have seen though.

couldn't see the goal but I'm sure it's awesome. Di Maria will make me watch all Real Madrid's games this season. I just adore his raw, "unpolished" skill, it's like ... so original and above that has that south american touch over it and best thing is his passion on the field. Really like the guy, and finally he's getting into rhythm for Madrid.

Not really like Forest in the sense they are not third division .. nevertheless they were picked due to the 50 year anniversary of the first Interconti cup between Real and Penarol
all stars are always weaker cause they play for the first time, i prefer a team that have chemistry
good test for the boys .. we are getting better each game probably faster than i anticipated, Jose work is evident and i'm pleased with how intense we play even in a friendly game ..
as usual he is awesome in changing the game in the second half , picking up the weakness and adjusting the team .

Well, there wasn't much to worry about since the beginning... I'm not underestimating Madrid, but we only see each other twice in La Liga, and I think those games won't define much of the outcome, as I believe the team that loses the more points against "weaker" opposition will finish second, it's going to be so close like last year...
And Mourinho doesn't scare me, we've beaten him in the past, last season we only lost once in four matches against him, so I think we can put up a very good fight against his mind tricks...
