Normal.. similar to Celtic winning the CL back in the 60's.. do you think they will do it again ? not in a million years
Uruguay isn't an attractive league and their players go to Europe at early age and they don't have a large talent pool like Argentina or Brazil.. even the most talented players who are not in Europe are either in Brazil or Argentina league
They were competitive and played the game till the end.. it felt more like a real competition than a pre-season friendly

He was rested along with other first team members since Friday.. negative rest
he is just back to training yesterday but no Cristiano will be a starter he plays on the right though , not worried about him he don't score a lot in pre-season like last year but he did score in the US games
Di Maria improved greatly.. i'd say his goal on Saturday gave him a much needed confidence which was evident today

Pedro Leon is a character, he has the most square face too. Either way, I like him a lot.

Di Maria has my vote of confidence, something about him is starting to appeal to me. Like someone said, he plays the game as if he was on the streets, very classic. Dribbling and taking on players is something I long adored and encouraged but it is a dying breed yet here this Argentine is bringing it back.

I feel for Canales, I see the ideas are there, I see that he tried but his execution is terrible. I hope Mourinho makes him an AM in 2-3 years. He would be terrific because he is technically very good, he can dribble and beat a marker and has the same idea of a pass Guti mastered. Still very, very raw and has a long way to go. He reminds me of Iniesta when he firts appeared, in that he had all the right ideas but nothing to show for it. Aquilani four years ago or something was the same thing, all the right ideas but no final product.
