I just wonder how long it'll be before their luck runs out.

they were extremely fortunate to get the result against sociedad with that crazy OG and then a deflection from a FK that shouldn't have been given. and now they beat espanyol largely thanks to some awful refereeing decisions.

After they win the league and Mourinho goes off to win the World Cup and become the greatest manager in history.
At which point I will probably stop watching the sport and find something more entertaining than Jose's brand of football, like cricket or watching paint dry.

It's ball busting is it not...but their luck will soon run out...I don;t believe in superstition...these are accidental occurrences...the ref help on the other hand is well and truly real...

And where was the luck in Higuain cannon came off the post ? or the 35226643 chances missed ? why do u turn a blind eye on those ? u have 35 attempts on goal and u score just 2.. who is lucky here ? Real or Ajax ? for example ? we had 22 attempts vs Sociedad against 10... 20 vs 9 last night.. both games we had more possession
why Di Maria shot was saved and Higuain missed a 3 yard sitter or an easy one on one
if we were that lucky we would be winning 6/7 goals a game..
and what own goal vs Sociedad ?
u make your own luck by pushing the other teams in committing mistakes ..if you don't do that much effort the other team will come out with the result

The ref was equally bad last night ... and Real were very unlucky not to be leading from the first moment through Ozil..

and if it was just one game than u can't brand us a lucky team

yeah you do make your own luck to an extent by exerting pressure on opponents, as you did vs. ajax with that OG for sure, but getting help from the referee like you did isn't necessarily a result of putting teams under pressure. plenty of times you can put teams under pressure but DON'T get ref decisions or lucky deflections go your way. real have done for the last couple of games (and maybe for the second lliga game you won 1-0 with the carvalho goal, I didn't see it so can't comment) and it's given you the win when a draw was on the cards, and I was just wondering when that luck will run out because from what I've seen you've only played 1 good game this season and it was in the CL.

Meta some of the chances we miss can be attributed to bad luck , however we (like always ) keep pushing it till something work out.. deflection , goal , penalty
last night was shockingly bad, i mean if it was just about being anti Espanyol he wouldn't red card Pepe or miss the elbow Duscher gave Higuain , the man was so psyched by the whole protect talents campaign (thanks a lot Barca ) he red carded a player for a yellow offense and the last red (two yellows ) were justified considering Forlin insulted him twice

the pepe red was harsh too, but espanyol's red was just fucking barmy.

Yep .. just a yellow nothing more IMO..i attribute it to the who press pressure for protection .. backfired in Espanyol face that was never a red in a million years
i can't comment on the penalty it need proper explanation , usually refs never give that penalty but i don't know with the whole touch the ball with your palm as if it's a volley ball game..
