Hahahaha, CA, nothing gets past you!

But I did love what Madrid did then, only year I can say I liked what they were doing.

i think you have to differ with regards to navas' anxiety issues. one thing is leaving sevilla in order to play away from home. as i already meantioned, he got professional help and has definitlely left that problem behind him (latest example is yesterdays game against CSKA in russia). a complete diffrent thing is leaving both the town of sevilla and the club in order to sign for another club (barca, real whatever). not sure if he's strong enough for that mentally.

as for him moving to real...i think the goal behind that move (provided this is true) could be to move cristiano forward and use him as second striker, with jesús navas as RM and whoever will be the new LM target on the other wing.

as for his international apperences. IF MARCA is to be believed, he's in the list of players for SA.

i don't think he'll end up at madrid (would be intersting to see him there though), cause del nido will be del nido and just point at the buyout clause, which is 60m €, which is certainly not an option. too less marketing value.
however, i do like the direction pérez & valdano are going...they keep looking for spanish players. hope they also sign a couple

Charlie Sheen's Protégé
Told Irv before , Mourinho & Real is a big no no
even when things are a bit rough like now still he won't and will never be accepted

Mourinho would never fly in Madrid ... he's too high profile and self-centred ... Perez would throw a $300 crystal decanter filled with $2000 Louis XIV cognac at Valdano when the press declare that it was the 'Special One' who led Real to a Liga title and CL Cup ... Cristiano would be having regular hissy fits when his spa time was replaced with suicides and training for defensive positioning ... Benzema would probably be sent home after the first training session cuz Mourinho would confuse him with ice cream delivery man ... and may the football gods help Pepe.

seriously though ... Mourinho's shine from Porto/Chelsea is starting to dampen for me. He seems like a lovesick puppy who's been kicked out of his lovers house (EPL/Chelsea) and is absolutely pining to get back in by keeping himself in the public eye.

do you heard that?

Although that real follower champ, striker's Argentine from the capital , Gonçalo Higuaín, still think Barcelona is the best team in the world and Lionel Messi is the best player in the world: "People love who they love, but for me Messi is the best player in the world".

Higuaín added sin to the crime, saying: "Although Real Madrid is the best team in history, currently the world's best team is Barcelona, though it's hard to say it". I wonder what Cristiano Ronaldo and Manuel Pellegrini think about his opinions.

Higuaín told of his struggle to be a leading player in Real Madrid: "I had to fight, it's never been easy. Last season I was the team scorer, but I started this season on the bench. The reason I back to line-up is that I have confidence that I am scoring every time I on field."
