Valuation is based on opinion and the current climate. I don't understand why so much emphasis is being placed on a players valuation. The who'll Ibra - Eto'o transfer was definitely a sad situation from Barca's point of view. Had Eto'o wanted to stay, or atleast Ibra really wanting to go, the price for Ibra wouldn't have been as much as 49/50m.

But if we got that 20 million for Eto'o from another team, we would have bought Zlatan for 70 which boils down to 50 million spent? Now we just have given 50 and Eto'o to Inter in the same deal.

Zlatan in - check
50 million gone - check

in both cases. I still don't see it.

cause unlike the Robben case (which u compared ) we still have the 25 Million Euro as received we paid them to no one , that's why it's deducted from our total spending
while you took the 20 Million from Eto'o sale + added 50 Million and gave it all to Inter .
- received/remaining money at the end of the transfer window = Zero
- total payment for Zlatan 70 Million = check
- total value of Zlatan transfer 70 Million (not your 50 )
- Gengy table = wrong check

which mean your table was wrong by your own admission

Has anyone noticed how Sheva & Kaka look completely different players when they left Milan ?

Samuel Eto'o was a club asset ... as he was included in the deal for Ibrah, that's net flow out from the club, along with the cash paid. we received nothing for Eto'o becuase you can't split Zlatan into sevenths. I can't believe Gio has had to spend four pages explaining this.

Total payment for Zlatan is 50 million cause we didn't pay 70, we got a discount for Eto'o valued at 20.
The value is 70 but we only spent 50? Like that then?
