No he is worth more than 20 Meta...

and is that coming from the 50 Million Cesc lovefest or soon to be 29 year old Villa 40 Mil war chest plus players
... i know both are bigger names but it's all down to what u need , we need a winger with a future and ability to grow ..

The market will already inflate with Chelsea 50 Mil Aguero and the expected City spending

beast, villa is the best striker in the world and has been (or at least top 3) for the last six years.

cesc is THE best young midfielder in the world.

(and even then, they're only worth such huge fees because you inflated the market last year with your utterly retarded spending - you've made the rod for your own back here)

di maria's been an inconsistent bellend until this season, 40m? get the fuck out. seriously. 20m is a fair fee for what he's achieved and his proven ability and consistency.

but yeah, this is all reial's fault. don't try and lump it on chelsea and city (although city have ruined the internal british market, overspending for shit like barry, lescott, etc.) they haven't paid farcical amounts for players over the course of one summer, it's all on reial and if you're now being charged 40m for an unproven player like di maria (20m is a fair valuation, if you consider valencia was 16m and he is only marginally more proven than the ecuadorian) you've got no one to blame but yourself.

Villa = x-factor ... he will decide who wins the league and who is the #1 contender for the CL Trophy for the next two years. Not Di Maria or Cesc.

40 is tooo much for Di Maria... City didn't overspend for Barry Meta, he's been one of their very consistent players and imo had proven to be a good investment

Players transfers always under a supply & demand rule Meta..
Villa is a top 3 .. so is /wasRuud Van Nistelrooy (when he is not injured ) it doesn't mean we pay for Ruud (who came a year older then Villa ) 40 Million.. i love Villa he is awesome but 40 is too much and u said the same thing about Ibra.. did u get 65 Million Euro difference ? did we get 65 Mil difference for kaka or Benz .. we got it from CR , we got it from Xabi

Kill me but i don't rate Cesc or any of his Arsenal choir boys that much.. they are all system players , put Cesc in Fulham and you will have Arteta MkII nothing more ..except for Henry last season (ONLY) how many Arsenal players made it outside Arsenal ?

Oh taking the British guard of honor rule.. tell me when was the first time a club made a 100 Million Euro offer for a player ?

let me tell you
it was City bid for Kaka
Yeah not Real ..

Seriously i wouldn't have paid more than 30 for Robinho not 42 but hey that's life and we were bound to make money off them .

Di Maria is not a 20 Million player he is at least 27-30 if any small Club wants to buy him. but if it was a big club you will pay more that's how the Portuguese roll (see Porto players )

Villa = x-factor ... he will decide who wins the league and who is the #1 contender for the CL Trophy for the next two years. Not Di Maria or Cesc.

He is an excellent player but there is no x-factor .. we've been marking Villa out of the game for couple of years now when we play Valencia successfully and we don't have the best defense

No the Daily Mirror to Marca

The Higuain-CR duet is the best duet all over Europe (including Mess-Ibra ) with 51 goals.. and that's taking into consideration
1- CR missed 55 days worth of games
2- Higuain didn't start except after the 7th game

great record
would anyone in Madrid have the guts to do this ? def. not

however expect a Benzema to United which is more believable

the other alternative is Navas (and Del Nido won't be a fool to sell cheap ) and Jesus already bring a shadow of doubt about his ability to adapt and Ribery who is older /injury prone and will cost more

as i hinted before, i don't like this di maria stuff. too many questions are raised and it looks like negative news for the "spanish flavor" attempt...di maria is left sided winger right??? so what happened to david silva as the LW??? or would he be signed as playmaker only??? and what will happen with canales - who's like silva able to play both in the center as well as LW. why is di maria rated at 35m € and david silva at only 25m €??? and what happens with marcelo etc...
i admit, i'm all with those madridistas - mainly the spaniard ones - who want pérez & valdano to not only continue with the spanish flavor, but also add spanish cracks like silva/fábregas/villa etc...instead of "just" the young talented ones for the bench. i guess they want their club to get back a big piece of the successfull "la roja" and loved it when pérez & valdano brought arbeloa, xabi alonso & r. albiol.

then there is also the call for castilla players like marcos alonso & sarabia. especially sarabia basically always comes up when there is talk about left sided players like david siva, canales & di maria. they prefer to give sarabia a try in the first team, rather then to make this another mata case - sarabia is out of contract at the end of the season and hasn't been renewed by now, as far as i know.

talking about jesus navas, MARCA has a title story with him today, where he strongly hints at real madrid. he would be ready for real and pérez likes him in white etc...IMO, if jesus navas is signed it will push cristiano to either the left side or convert him into a striker only.

beast, villa is the best striker in the world and has been (or at least top 3) for the last six years.

those who claim that david villas speed based style has suffered this year because he got slower and will get slower due to his age are getting more and more. that's probably why real madrid have no longer been interested ever since last summer.

Rumor is that Real Madrid are set to offer 30 mil to Steven Gerrard... WTF... weirdest news/rumor I've heard in a long time

hands off gerard!!! RUMOR here in germany had it, that capello will have to face another scandal in short time, which would make the one of terry look like nothing. the scandal is said to be already with the papers, but the player managed to get a restraining order and stop the story from being published...for now.

however, it is said to be about gerrard. maybe eddie can tell us more. i won't risk telling more;)

however expect a Benzema to United which is more believable

probably...that rumor in addition with momo diarra + cash and rooney heading the other way to madrid comes up regularly. while i can see both real players leaving, i just can't see rooney joining real madrid...even though his video game add in the real madrid outfit makes you kinda think about why he would shoot that add if he doesn't think about a possible move - like benzema did last year.

in the end, there is just way too much rumors flying around currently. you notice that it's transfer window time coming closer and closer.

Disappointed in Pellegrini's comments today, particularly when you consider how magnanimous & sporting Pep has been by comparison...Basically claimed that Barca's win at Camp Nou was an 'unfair' result rather than concede the obvious, they were swept by Barca this season...again :p

according to AS, these 8 players are certain to be gone, likely to go or with an uncertain future.

certain to go are

- lass
- m. diarra
- drenthe
- metzelder

likely to go is

- guti (MARCA claim he's off to galatasaray)

with their future uncertain are

- raul
- gago
- higuian (he's the surprise on that list, but the fact that he wants to renew his contract, real doesn't call and the offers from chelsea & man city made AS add him to that list)

Unless he go back to being a team player and stop this goal scoring/winning pichichi obsession i won't mind selling him for the 40 Million Euro offered .
if his ego is becoming so big for his own good i'll be happy to show him the door

when was the last time Higuain signed a contract?

don't know for sure, but i think this would be his first renewal??? possible payment improvements left aside that is.
