I don't think anyone has written Real Madrid off, El Gato. It's just that this time you really have to finish top 8 to not have two extra games and a potential difficult knockout tie (I guess a little similar to finishing second in a group and then facing a group winner). The issue is every point and goal counts for a lot here because of it being one big league table. There's less margin for error IF you wanna finish top 8 and avoid the prelim knockout round. If this was a group game from previous season you'd likely win the other five or four and a draw and still top it.
Now with everyone being grouped together it's less isolated and feels less 'protected'.
This goes for all teams, not just Real Madrid.

Mf will be sorted out once Valverde grows in the more controlling type than continiously attack type of mf(transformation he’s undergoing currently) Maybe replace tchoua with a better dm but he ain’t a disaster, could improve.

Don't know if either Tchou or Cama is what fits the bill. Both also like to drive forward and an attacking 3 in this team historically preferred having a Casemiro type covering those controlling

Fede more responsible in how he plays but less a tempo setter, unless converts
Would be easiest if we cloned Bellingham and had one always doing defensive stuff, the other constantly looking to slot in between attackers
