Why does any player have to fake an injury, why can't they just tell their NTs they're taking a break?
Yeah dont understand it either, just say you are tired and need a break, why should anyone criticise that??
All players can refuse going to their NT if they want, it's their choice, the problem is most players actually want to play for their country and won't agree to refuse or fake injuries to stay.

Part of that is the fact that they want to keep their spot, some of them want to fight for a spot etc. If you outright refuse a call up, it might make your NT coach angry and harm your relationship with them or the fans, so they fake an injury instead not to make it obvious that they skipped NT duty. But like I mentioned above most players want to play for their NT so they don't want to refuse it.

If Militao and Vinicius faked injuries it's because they were fine with not going but most players won't agree to rest during NT breaks, they want to play for them.

That is very rare though. Must happen once every few years.
There are likes of Ben White who simply doesn't want to play and that's the premise the coach selects his team after.

What you're saying is giving way too much power to the player, no coach would accept that.
Imagine being the boss and your employee only comes to work when he feels like it. Can't build a proper NT squad if players go in and out whenever they feel like it, especially in the limited time that NT gatherings are.

Remember the shit Messi received from Argentina fans a decade ago. "He only cares about his club", despite always playing for Argentina. Now imagine he plays 90 minutes each game with Barca (like he did) and then uses int.break to rest, how would fans take that?

Post not necessarily directed at you btw.

BREAKING: The experiment is OVER. Jude Bellingham is set to return to his position of last season.

@jfelixdiaz

@El Gato
Where are you Wolfyboy to tell us that the Jude was gonna slot seamlessly into a CM position w/o problems?
Or that Rodrygo warrants playing with 2 wingers up front, sacrificing the extra cm that gave balance to your system last season?

You don't have to be an expert to see that it would not work. Unfortunately, Ancelotti understood it faster than you...

Take the L for now, just to remind yourself you should not mess with areas you don't understand (like tactics)

You're not even following are you + forgetting what claims actually were
Claim was Bellingham was going to be moved to play in 4-3-3 to accommodate for 3 forwards - it happened
Thus far worked as expected - Bellingham playing reasonably well even if not scoring as much as last year when used as false 9

Nobody claimed that moving down to his old position would be without consequences

This is nothing but the next stage in experimenting trying to find best way to play without Kroos present in team
So far with Rodrygo is performing poorly - or rather, the other 2 are much better than he is while he isn't helping enough - Guler also not used as much (no one really knows why either) and best sub arguably for over a year has been Brahim
This means RW is likely to be used less in meantime and Camavinga to slot in at LCM

This is unlikely to be a go-to mechanism full season as means currently we're working on assumption Alaba will be fit enough to play CB - if not, Tchouameni would be moved down and Bellingham back where started in event of inevitable fatigue, injuries & suspensions. That or played together with other CAMs where it's clear as day he's the best CM while Camavinga used as CDM

Keep up, normal rotational evolution
Nothing to do with Bellingham not coping at CM

Matter of fact word is Tchouameni might have picked up a knock
So unless Ceballos or Modric are used, Bellingham may well be moved downfield again

Horatio

You're welcome
So far it’s not like they’ve “trashed” anybody - just barely gets a win.
but those streaks also tell you real doesn’t lose lol. so they still heavy favs going into most games. and streaks also have the psychological effect of wanting to keep in tact

Yes it happened, and the result was awful. Hence Carlo moving back to last year's system

Nobody claimed that moving down to his old position would be without consequences

You, for once, claimed it will be a piece of cake, since tap-in merchant played there at BvB 'without problems'
That alone tells everything about your level of understanding

This is nothing but the next stage in experimenting trying to find best way to play without Kroos present in team

The experiment was what you saw until now. From now on, there is no more 'experiment' as the leak above clearly declares. It's reverting to the system that worked last season with Modric or some other md taking Kroos place,
instead of shifting tactics and formations.
You have a problem defining concepts such as 'experiment'

So far with Rodrygo is performing poorly - or rather, the other 2 are much better than he is while he isn't helping enough - Guler also not used as much (no one really knows why either) and best sub arguably for over a year has been Brahim
This means RW is likely to be used less in meantime and Camavinga to slot in at LCM

It's not that Rodrygo perfomed poorly. If that was the case a straight swap with Brahim or Guler would have been the solution.
Instead, the case is that the new formation unbalanced everything. RW is not needed

This is unlikely to be a go-to mechanism full season as means currently we're working on assumption Alaba will be fit enough to play CB - if not, Tchouameni would be moved down and Bellingham back where started in event of inevitable fatigue, injuries & suspensions. Most likely than not, it will be the go-to mechanism.
If you are short of defenders, and Tchouameni has to play there, Ancelotti will pick Cama, Valverd, Modric/Ceballos in md, and won't change the diamond

We are here to see it.

PS: So far, you took a huge L.
Don't mess with things like tactics that you are short of

PS: COPE!!
Your tap-in merchant is not as good as you pose.
And he is not your father or son to always defend him (like you do with coward-y Zizou and some others as well)

Aye
Dreamed up a claim to fight, got rolled, saw a tweet, got hot and bothered and now just the usual try hard stuff without actually watching an ounce of it

Even fighting against Bellingham as if he's playing poorly at CM. Haha, absolute plonker

Diamond was never here to stay and was a contingency for CF departure. Will continue to be used in periods where alternative works poorly.

Nothing new with Ancelotti
Experiments continue as usual
Carry on

  What a sore loser's post is this?
Got eaten alive point by point, and retreating to generalities

What you don't get is that is not an alternative anymore.
It's plan A
The alternative was what Ancelotti tried these first months, and it didn't work

Yes, your buddy is a poor CM. Can't control tempo, can't thread a through ball.
He is much better as a false CF, or free-roaming attacker

Daft takes from usual suspects that barely watch.

No diamond is not a plan A
No Bellingham isn't a poor CM, has done rather well so far this season

Calma and carry on
