thats unrealistic, even for messi. he's 30 now. he's not going to score 180 goals in the next two seasons (90 each, etc). he can get to 700, but maybe by 34, assuming he does not decline sharply

that would still require some 62 goals per season, or some weird 50-70 split. i don't see it happening. messi can get 50 or 55 this season and the next, and even that would be mind boggling (frankly anything 40+ is absurd). but two 60s in a row? thats unreasonable

Its not happening before he turns 32 but perhaps when he still is 32, so before he turns 33.

To be honest, I didn't even expect him to reach 350 so all bets are off as far as I'm concerned. I think it will be more a question if he is abel to motivate himself to go on for another 7-8 seasons. He only needs 15 goals on average for the next 8 years to hit 500, Imo not unresonable at all if he does 3-4 seasons more in the 20-25 range.
