Would be interesting to see how Ancelotti goes about with the midfield.

Who will he drop. What happens with Kimmich and his position.

Hope he benches Kimmich so we can snap him up later :lucho:

He brought a lot of energy but the rest of his game was poor and he should have been booked. People are getting carried away with the hype.

a bit more maturity, a bit more tactical routine and the guy is set imo.
Ancelotti will have noticed his tactical flaws and will vow to improve him.
As a footballer he's very convincing.

This.

He's a boy and he did at times show this, that said however he has still been one of the bright sparks for his country and has given Portugal real impetus.. He shouldn't be doing what he's doing right now because he's still only 18 years old. After 4 more years of development at one of the best clubs in the world he will still only be 22...

Fantastic player he's been...deserves the MVP of the tournament in my book (so much more than Cristiano) if Portugal (hopefully not) becomes champion or even if they just make it to the final. Just goes to show how fantastic Bayern's organization and scouting is. They might've just pulled off one of the best transfer in recent years, seems like an absolute fantastic piece of business. Even though i'm a die-hard Cule, you can't deny the genius in running a club, when it comes to Bayern, let it be from the financial or scouting (or just overall) point of view, and from one great coach (Pep) to another (Ancelotti). For me they are the top favourites for CL this season with a proven CL material Ancelotti (not that Pep isn't class, but he seemed to have developed a little complex in CL with Bayern). They're only going up, in every club management way possible, hats off to them. :worthy:
Like day and night compared to our screw-up of a Board and all the shady shit we've been seeing lately. :banghead:

I dont like judging players based on the Euros and WC, but Renato had an impressive quarter final at such a young age.

He's just 18. Remember that.

For an 18 year old he has been mighty impressive!

True, but he has the physique of a 25 year old so he doesnt have so much room to progress in that area like other 18 year olds. Still a great talent though.

Decision making and other skills can be improved.

It depends on whether he's up for it. Need to keep his feet planted and work hard. Especially at a team like Bayern where I doubt he'll get a free pass regardless of how much he cost.

I saw some articles claiming he's 23, back from 2015, all from portuguese sites. He and Mendes sued, obviously. The claim is that his mom didn't register him until he was already 5 years old.
