I think, when trading with english clubs, Bundesliga teams should finally begin to demand the sums that english clubs trade their players to each other, especially since they got this superexpensive TV deal now. We are not a supermarket, a player like Fimrino should not leave his club for under 50m to an english club if someone like Luke Shaw goes for 37,5m. These sums are peanuts for them, so try to measure the prices by THEIR standards, not by our own just because 30m is still a lot here.

Yeah it hasn't been a very good match up in recent years.

I think Rafael was progressing well under Ferguson's tutelage, in 2012/13 only Zabaleta was arguably better then him in the league. Unfortunately he's injury prone and Van Gaal is looking for a new RB it seems.

Coutinho and Lucas Leiva (before his injury) did well at pool. Fabio Aurelio wasn't bad either for them.

United on the other hand, it's not only Brazilian. It's South American in general. Di Maria and Falcao are the newest examples. Veron in past.

If Ferguson was still there, I wouldn't be against Firmino going there.
