Robinho substituted for the injured SC in the early minutes, then subed out by mancini in the 60th minute. walks out of the field .

he'll be available for less than 20mil imo.

should we now go after him?

not even on a half season loan + buyout if satisfied?

he's a kid, but eventually he'll have to grow up and the kid got talents, no one denies that.

i think its worth another try, even tho we gave up on him.

When people say Robinho is a bad influence in the dressing room, it just shows they really have no idea.

His work rate isn't the best, and it really shows away from home, but he isn't a bad guy.

Zlatan is a much more temperamental person, but some of you seem to forget that.

Robinho: I'm quitting City to return to Brazil
ESPN Soccernet

Manchester City forward Robinho has confirmed he is set to leave Eastlands, with a return to Santos the likely destination.

City manager Roberto Mancini named Robinho in his starting line-up for the FA Cup tie against Scunthorpe and the Brazil forward, who has been unhappy to find himself on the bench in recent matches, admits it could be his last match for City.

''What's important is to be happy,'' Robinho told Brazilian radio station Radio Bandeirantes. ''Money is not everything. First thing is that I am going through a bad period.

''Here, Mancini said that I would play one game and another no. I didn't accept that and told him so. It's a World Cup year.''

Speculation has increased that Robinho is set to leave City after he came off the bench against Everton last weekend, only to be substituted himself before the end.

Reports suggest Robinho, who joined City in a £32.5 million move in 2008, is set to take a pay-cut to move back to Santos, with the Premier League club also continuing to pay part of his wages.

The 25-year-old progressed through the ranks at Santos and played over 100 matches for the Brazilian outfit before leaving to Real Madrid in 2005.

And he would love a return, adding: ''The directors all agree that it's better to send me out on loan. It would be exceptional to return to Santos. Playing for Santos would help me in my path to the World Cup. It is my home, I know everyone.''

Robinho also revealed that his friend and compatriot Diego had told him to join him at Juventus but that he had responded: ''Di, I would do better to go fishing. No, I'm going to Brazil.''

Visca el filòsof!
Another overhyped Brazilian has proven his true colours, it's just a shame that madrid managed to get so much cash from the idiots at citeh when anybody with their eyes open could see the player didn't have the mentality to make it at the top of the game.

He had the potential but his personality as a footballer is crap and believed his own hype..
Robinho believed his manager and made the wrong career move now it's too late for him .
A CR trade and he would have flourished in United under SAF but he was too dumb and now heading back to Santos 5 years earlier than expected
