Vieira spent the last 4 years drinking the best of Milano wine.. that's as far as his football goes .
Meta replied well to what i mean regarding the leader

And look who you compared yourself too with regards to the passion for the cup..Villa & Blackburn .. that' comes in the mentality part .. Cule's won't say we need to work hard like Depor or Villarreal .. they say we need to win the trophy from Madrid ..etc

I'm not Robinho spokesman but i know him more than you do considering he spent with us more time than you ..;)
don't be fooled by Robinho smile , he is smiling every time he think of the trip he makes to the bank to cash his cheques
...have you ever saw any anger on his face ? he don't know how

I guess he loves Citeh so much he spent the last 6 month trying to move to Barca and now lowered his ambition to Santos

Just because Vieira hasn't been playing doesn't mean he won't be a good leader on the pitch or in the dressing room.

I wasn't comparing Villa and Rovers with us, I can guarantee if Chelsea, United or Liverpool (maybe) had met in the Carling Cup or FA Cup they would play one of their strongest teams.

I mean I know it's a derby, but all the United fans want to win the Carling cup badly now they've got this far.

So any player that says playing for Barcelona would be great, automatically hates the club he's at? I've seen Robbie getting angry a few times, but he doesn't take it our on the opposition.

If we get in the top 4 all these issues will be solved anyway.

I dunno about that. you still need a reference if you want to attract top players (which your owners do). ribery is your best bet, as he's a complete and utter merc so you could buy him off, but even he's not really a world-wide name and although he has won things it's in germany which doesn't really count.

I'd say Tevez & Bellamy are the players everything goes through now, we've been playing with more than half our team out and we're on our best run of the season without them.

no doubt those two are your reference points on the field.

but... look at them.

you got all starry-eyed and have tried to break into the top 4 with glitz and glamour but in the end you're just doing it the everton way.

He wouldn't Meta, I saw him in Copa ties for Milan and he wasn't interested. And he's not quite as mercenary as many of the top players. Top players want a shot at league titles, CL and International trophy.

yeah I know, but that's the coppa. like I said, the FA cup is different to other cup competitions. I mean no doubt he'd prioritise the league and CL, but I think he'd give the FA cup more of a go.

Maybe once in the situation he might, but thats once he is in the situation - the club. The problem is getting them into the club, and a shot at winning domestic cups doesn't bring in the top players. A good chance at the league or CL, yes.

oh yeah, no doubt about that.

it's hilarious to me, though, at how city who started this project with such BALLS and ambition in taking robinho like they did have since de-flair'd their team and have filled their squad with rather unfashionable unglamorous workers. the question is, now, how do they move up from that level?

I mean, what big player will join them?

Well I don't believe they can get to the very top, like Chelsea did/have (one kick from winning CL). It's not the best prospect for top players now, all of them will think twice because they don't want their career to be like Robinho, City are now going to have to go to the next level with what they have got + more 2nd tier down players before any big name moves there - I think.

I thought he meant big names like Jan Venegoor of Hesselink
wow its really big like ur sig.
well tbh they already have a team who can give serious threats to big clubs in any cup competition.what they lack is consistency.if the arabs stick with them for couple of years they will definitely challange for PL and like chelsea they will do whatever to take the young talents from france, holland etc.
i want them to do well cause i cant stand man utd fans(though they have come to ground after last years final at rome and what madrid did).

I though Robinho was good for Barca until i read his actual wages..it will be big turn off for clubs, and he already has bad temper..maybe he should come back to south america and play in campeonato

I love Ducky, I love how ambitious and loyal he is. Here he is, among fans of AC Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid, basically European giants fortunate enough to have incredible history yet he loves his club for whatever little success they have achieved and is very proud of it, perhaps more so than all of us.

Another Brazilian waste of talent, what a shame. Thank god we didn't buy this clown.
I got to say,the Brazilian league is packed with talent right now. I hate to say it as an Argentina fan but the Brazilian league is miles apart from anything else in the continent.

Yeah but he does it by being an EPL homer who thinks that being in the Premiership alone gives him a sense of entitlement.

Robinho's completed a loan move to Santos, as he was boarding the plane he said "tell Blue Duck I love playing for City and I want to spend the rest of my career here"

He left because he was told he wouldn't play every game. As it's a World cup year that is completely understandable.
