Ronald Koeman

Barca having 3 number 10s is exactly what Koeman bought for Everton and I see it is going just as well.

It's frustrating. Most teams have multiple routes to goal. Gound, air, combination of short and long passes, crosses, able to play possession and or counters. Also a proper 9, pure wingers, a destroyer. The current Barca is stuck with short passing from tiki taka days with feeble ball playing mids, 10's and ss types in the front line and defenders that can't defend. No leaders on the field and a pussy mentality. If you look at the way Real won against Borussia (not that they are some perfect example) they can hit you multiple ways, on the ground, crosses (lots of them), shots from range (Modric, Kross, Valverde). Most other teams are like that. With Barca it's mostly one route; short pass.

This is our system for years and our downfall.

Well said. The lack of versatility and flexibility in approaching our game is our biggest pitfall and no manager will change it without doing something drastic, I am afraid.

That is why I don't want any Barca DNA managers.

That's a false connection. Some of the best managers in Europe all cited Pep's Barca as inspiration. Look it up. Naagelsmann for example is implementing at Leipzig something stemming from that.

It's not Barca DNA (whatever it means) that is to blame.

We have very little of the positives from Pep (constantly on the move while maintaining possession and using that to create space and chances etc.) left and today (or for the last how many years I don't remember) we are just having possession for nothing and we have long lost the marbles and groove of Pep's era, not just because players got old. The game is just too sterile and too one-dimensional. After countless of Barca DNA managers and we don't see any changes. Changes need to happen.

That's true. But Leipzig have no gems (Forsberg, Nkuku, Sorloth, Poulsen, Olmo attack) and are one of the best teams in Europe atm. Valverde, Koeman, these are anything but Barca DNA managers. Xavi would be the first since Pep that would get a real chance.

6racies Xavi
 Jordi Farre is offering people free tattoos and pizza if they vote for him, now that screams desperation. You can definitely strike that Klopp link as 100% bullshit.

At first I thought it was a fake quote , but he actually said that

So the canditates so far are :
- Xavi and Inshallah
- You will never walk alone
- I'll buy you guys Pizza

Is this what competition looks like ?

I am not trying to play devils advocate or anything like that.

But Koeman didn't even get players he wanted.
Only Dest.

He has no 9 except Braith. He wanted his man
He didn't get it.

Who he got for CB?
He has a bunch of clowns or Kids.

Who is in the mid?
3 10s, 2 old farths and kids.

So... I think he doesn't stand a chance and he isn't even all to blame.
He accepted this shit...
And when it looked like he maybe could do it...
Ansu got hurt.
CB are either injured or crap.
Dembele is glass
Cou and Griezz are shadow-walkers.
Messi can't score 1/10 shots.

If I were Koeman I would already burn the f* dresingroom. Just for sake of clensing the evil spirits.

P.S.
Maybe I am not realistic. I admit that Koeman was my favorite player in Dream Team.

Was Ten Haag ever considered? Ajax play exact brand of football that i adore. Would be hard to implement with amigos, but they will be gone eventually.

Some ideas have to show through, regardless of other problems. What he did with Puig are huge warning signs. Basically persecuted him for being small.

You find a system where you can play Puig and Pedri, and phase out Busi. He said 4-2-3-1 is the best. Lol. The best for what? The force in 3-4 players who all like to play behind a striker in the CAM position?

Personality wise, presence wise, I like Koeman a lot. The best manager in terms of personality and presence since Lucho, I can see his passion. But his ideas for me are not something you would invest years in to see unfolding.

I agree that discarding Piug without even giving him a chance is a shitty thing to do.

He insists in his ideas. Andat the start we were all hyped with some great games... Now it is all back to square one. All went down to drain.

Is it all his fault? I don't think so.

Sure, and the job of the next board is to see if his ideas deserve more time or not. I don't think it's about blame anymore. It's about finding the right path so we don't spend the next decade with almost no meaningful titles and playing more Europa League than CL football, like United.

I think he played a "soldier of the club" here.

When he was announced one of my friends asked me, why Koeman.
I said: my guess is because he is a big big biggg clib name, not some nobody, and he ia here to PURGE the squad from overpaid stars.

He is maybe even agreed to play a "scapegoat" and clean this shit for someone more suited ...
