Didnt Koeman take every penalty and fk though?
Mad goalscorer for his position, but still.

"You really have to wonder wtf is going on at Barcelona. I mean they really think the answer to their problems is to hire a man with the attitude and personality of Hitler who only 3 years ago was sacked from a team as crap as Everton for putting them in the bottom 3 after squandering about 200 million to improve his squad and damaging Everton football club for years to come.

So yeah lets put him in charge of the most prestigious club on the Planet then because its a boss idea.

They have no idea what is coming and wanna watch out for their lockers never mind well being and sanity."

To be honest Everton are no better or worse, they've been going nowhere for 30 years minus a couple good years under Moyes and Martinez. Plus he has more managerial honours than Valverde before he took the Barca job ;) .

Mad stats.

Not even counting NT goals.

Pretty much. But completely deserved.

Elite Dutch winning DNA confirmed, ala Rijkaard.

I have zero expectations for him. He’s coming into a pretty toxic squad where the veterans have all of the say.

Hopefully he can clean house and plays the youngsters.

I will take another trophy less season if he can start the rebuild properly.

Koeman was one of the my favourite players when i started watching football, as he was in commanding role in my favourite club as well as favourite national team. Really hope he succeeds. Past experiences do not matter that much. Like i have said, management, coaching staff and players must sync together and if it does, wonderful things happen. Some coaches will suck in one club, but do great in others.

[@HelenaCondis] | Ronald Koeman will have full power and will work hand in hand with Ramon planes. The Dutchman paid in his own pocket to terminate his contract with Dutch FA. He will arrive with Henrik Larsson and Alfred Schreuder as an assistant.

The componence of the team is all people who love hard work and have a no nonsense way about them. Here's to hoping no more slacking off and being the laziest team in Europe. Let's bring back intensity for a full game. Been ages since we played fast football with sustained pressure for most of the match.

And amigos need to go. No reduced role please. You can't have players who stay on the bench being much better paid than guys who will carry the heavy load. It's not fair.

Give them time 1 season to find teams and cut them loose. Or reduce their contracts by mutual agreement.

At the very least he is a club legend, so respect should be a given.
The "Hitler attitude" comments... GREAT, that's what this teams needs at this point.

Yup. We need "Hitler attitude" at the moment. Badly. I don't care if he's here short term. Just kick some life back into the team.

Xavi needs to learn the ropes first. He can't just parachute in from Qatar to handle one of the most difficult jobs in world football.

Can't see it.
Say what you want about Qatari league, they are still better than 4th division in Spain where Pep started. Pirlo didn't have a training session before coaching Juve, Lampard came from failing to get promoted in championship and Arteta was just assistant.
Xavi sees that and think he has the pedigree to get the job.
