Now. We exited CL in a non-embarrasing way, which is an improvement.

Now he should concentrate on 3 primary goals:

1. Liga
2. Copa
3. Keeping Lenglet benched or in the stands

Eh we are humiliated at our own Camp Nou. Overall it is 3 goals loss. Not sure if it is embrassing or not but still a big loss in UCL anyway.
Interesting that two, three years ago Liga and Copa were nothing important to fans. This year hope they open their eyes.

It's because our level has dropped so much. The cl is still the ultimate prize in club football.

Too little too late, damage was done in the first leg. Making our home games look like away games fans or not is fucking unacceptable

The first leg was mismanaged and kind of unlucky with Araujo getting injured just before.
We have made progress during the season that I hope we keep making.
I have some disagreements with koeman though:
1. Griezmann should play as a defender or something because as an attacker he has no instinct.
2. Pjanic is a retired player, someone must tell RK.
3. Lenglet is not a ticking bomb. He has actually imploded many times already and will just keep on imploding.
4. Puig is still a Barca player and a pretty decent one for some situations.
5. Dembele can only score 1/10th of the clear cut chances he gets, he is no striker.

Writing this, I just realized how many dead weight we have to carry. And I didn't even mention Coutinho. Mr. Dead weight himself.

This is such a special season. We shouldn't really judge Koeman on where we end up in CL or the league.

We have to look at it from a different perspective. Where were we when the season started? Where are we now?
That development curve is huge. We basically went from wasting half a season result wise and at the same time a lot of players were finding their feet. It's only after the winter break we started to actually look like a team working towards the same goals.

I think winning the league would be an extreme boost in confidence for next season. I'm going in with the expectation of winning all the remaining games, we are good enough for that.
Next up Huesca on monday, a week's rest, Sociedad, and then the international break. After that we go on like machines.

That's why we need realistic expectations.

One month ago, it seemed like we will be trophyless this season. Now, we can win a domestic double if we win all important Liga games.

I hereby declare I was wrong to be reactionary after the PSG loss and Sevilla copa loss after what I thought was a repeat of old habits in this squad (playing Pique-Lenglet-Busquets triangle of death), and not being able to move on from it. Seems like Koeman learnt his lesson with how to play the bigger games. If Barto hadn't absolutely crippled us financially we'd be signing a top class forward this summer and maybe even a quality CB that would see us challenge for every title again.

Ronald Koeman: “It's obvious that we are lacking a striker. We created a lot of opportunities but weren't effective.”

Expectation: #teamHalaand let’s goooooo

Reality: Aguero or Depay :crbust:

Funny thing with Haaland is that there is a strong chance he stays at Dortmund for another season, and gets transferred in 2022.

If Haaland ends up at City (which is likely), I think we should go for Gabriel Jesus.
He is a modern player that can satisfy the demands of the modern game in intensity and pressing, while he has the striker instinct
