Ronald Koeman

Don't let him have any say in transfer matters if he want to sign Memphis as a starter and play him as the #9 and Wijnaldum for the same reason in the midfield

I mean on paper every combination with Depay on the left (or CF) and two out of Messi/Fati/Dembele looks better than Griezmann in there. But I get your reservations. Before the season I thought we should make a ton of changes, but now I am perfectly fine with our midfield and defense (+Garcia or similar). I definitely think our attack needs the "most" changes, but its really hard to say what exactly we should do.

Depay is okay, but far from a big improvement, and if Griezmann stays (I am 50/50 on this) he may not make too much sense. The latter is a worse fit, but individually superior.

A worldclass CF would be great, but there are only two somewhat available options (Haaland and Kane), and they are still highly improbable (not that I would like Kane in particular here+Levy is a pain in the ass). Haaland would be incredibly expensive as well+Watzke is a pain in the ass ;-)

As an irresponsible fan I would say f*ck it and try to poach Moukoko for CF - take a page out of Florentinos playbook and open the Kindergarten. Not much other talent around I am afraid (Malen is far from impressive and I have no idea about Daka, maybe someone can say something about him).

Moukoko is too young and would still be expensive. I'm too keen on Memphis Depay as a starter at all, but as a rotation option he wouldn't be bad. Just worried Koeman's so obsessed with him and he'd play him even when he shouldn't.

Someone like Patson Daka would make more sense if they want to gamble on a striker with the right traits that might be available for 20-30m

These graphs are interesting and nice to look at, but I am not certain how they should be read and what to take from them. It surely looks nicer when the players are distinctly apart, and cover large parts of the pitch. LM should probably be as large as possible, and the largest passing lane should not be between the CBs I guess.

FJ+SB have been in the same spot some games throughout the season (f.e both games v. Cadiz), and PE+AG are in the same spot in the recent games. MB is a very small diamond almost every game he plays, RP on the other hand is a large diamond...

Last summer, Koeman went to the club's museum without telling anyone, and paid the entrance fees despite the staff's insist on a free entry. Koeman said that he wanted to support the club, and went buying team shirts as well.

With the salary story as well as this seems like great guy.

Best midfielder around
Don’t think anyone doubted that he is a great guy. Very similar to Solskjaer. Both are nice and likable, but average managers as of right now.

He might be average, but that puts him 2 levels above EV (amateur) and about 5 above Setien (Incompetent). So, there surely is an evolution.

It doesn't matter if you are an average manager when your assistant is a walking breathing computer crammed with the history of football knowledge.

You're welcome
lol with the revisionism going on. First Twix saying nobody doubted he was a great guy and now Barcaman claiming the Koelt.
