They were not cruising and waiting to go up gears and score at will.

In your opinion. Don't think they'd score at will but they looked dangerous every time they carried the ball forward. If they were chasing goals they would have upped tempo potentially creating more chances.

The first goal was an extremely poor decision of Alba. Should not have rushed in like that.

Also, Busi jogging as if Alba is gonna get that is inexcusable. Pedri is dead tired anyway since the match even started (I hope this isn't his normal top speed, that would be way worse), Valverde running next to him is like Maglev passing through a Japanese station at full speed.

We have a runner like Valverde, getting past Pedri as if he's not even there, then past Alba, and then past half-asleep Busi... And not even one get to him or at least foul him.

They were scrambling. Could see it and most of their attacks were punts up the park that went nowhere.

Barca had by far the better opportunities in that second half.

Pedri got better as game went on. Dont think can just claim he knackered. The tactics Real set up with left him and Busquets exposed also.

Don't think he got better. He was terrible all game for me. Overran by any Madrid player that breached his zone. I know you don't agree, but he's been long past the point of his fitness capabilities at his age, playing his first season in first division football.

In your opinion x2.

I said don't think, meaning this is what I think, not that it is a definitive fact. If they were chasing goals they would have upped tempo because that is what every team does when chasing goals.

They hit the post, Kroos missed easy open goal header, they were also very wasteful, first half and second. That was whilst not having to score anymore due to early goal.

He was still poor but passing got better even if couldnt get much worse. Overan as they outnumbered Barca and had quicker players.

Too many games starts slow recently.

I am stating as fact Real were not cruising in second half. Was clear as day.

Do what choose with it.

Again a big disappointment in a big game.It s ok to beat the Levante's,Elche's or even Sevilla's of the world, but the value of a team and coach is seen in these games. Real Madrid defeated us in both games this season and that is always gonna be unacceptable.

Pedri gets better as the game goes on because the rest of the players slow down to his pace. Let's see him enter as a sub for a game or two.

Just to rub it in Zidane subbed on the likes of Marcelo, Isco and Mariano to rest legs for UCL coming up. That's how in control they were

And I'm saying they handed that control of the game over knowing we'd do very little with it because it suited their counter attacking abilities.

Nope! Completely false! They needed Marcelo's speed on the wing, Isco's creativity, and Mariano's goal scoring instincts to win. How could you not see that??
