The funniest thing is that... Looking back at that Dembele CF experiment with Griez and Leo behind was actually working. He reverted back to more rigid 3-5-2 with only Griez and Leo up front for that RM game... Didn't work... Still tried the shame shit until today... Still doesn't work.

Having brought Griezmann back in the starting XI in CF was one of Koeman's biggest mistakes. We were great while being this counter-attack mentality with Dembouz up front. Obviously the guy is not a finisher, but still could score 1 out of 10, while creating space for others to score like the Real Sociedad game. Reverting back to Griezmann as main striker was suicide.

It's so weird because in almost all matches he destroyed his own things that were working.

I think so too. And most importantly Dembele's presence created space for Leo and runs from midfielders (not that Pedri can score, but still...).

After Griez was back and Dembele benched, we became the same boring "pass to Leo and wait" Barca. Seniors coming back from injuries made it worse.

These seasons will be more often than great ones for the next 2-3 years. The idea is that in about 2-3 years we'll be back in top 5.

I don't think we're even top 10 right now personally.

Lucho and Zidane had probably the best squads in the world at their moment... Our current squad is mid-table/Europa League level...

De Jong is the second best but he is in between. Not from old core but not really young like Pedri either.

Yea, Pique being back and FDJ not being there as CB-CM hurt us. We looked the best in that period near the PSG return leg. Pique at this point is a bench player at best.

i would call it a really really good season if, piques , bob, alba, bosquets, even Stegen where all subs, and all youngsters in there
place where playing, but to stick to the same shit week players unless they got injured then this was a really bad season.

Yes, but these 3 had insane success right off the bat. Winning trebles and CLs. Nobody expects Xavi to do that. It's impossible. Simply making this team competitive in Europe and challenging for the title in Spain, while not looking like clowns in derbies would be great.

Then, as the confidence is building and hopefully we can make some marquee signings as well, we can expect and demand big titles. Or at least CL semis and such.
