Ronald Koeman

Liverpool had plenty of chances in their 3-0 defeat and their comeback was without their two best forwards.
Talking about style every manager will have their own little tweaks. Pep and Cruyfs teams are probably regarded as the purest versions of the style that fans want.

It's so strange to me that it seems like most fans, at least here, do not want that style at all. They lay all the blame on the players that could play like that, after the club took step after step away from that style for soon to be 10 years.

Games can be won without having the most chances, but I think Barcelona also had plenty of chances that they didn't score in that double leg against that years winner.

That style has to evolve. Also to play that style you need players of the highest quality preferably from LA Masia.
Also cast your mind back to the 1994 Cl final. Most pundits had us as favorites. Instead Milan fucking hammmeredy us.
We have yet to master the art of winning without playing well in the cl.
Real have mastered it and that's why they have 13 cl wins.

The team consists of Pique, Alba, Busquet, Umtiti, Lenglet, Dembele, Griezman, Roberto, ter Stegen, fking Braithwaite is no CL contender, half of the team is high paid finished dinousaurs and some injury prone divas and the whole defence with those name is simply just a joke

Sad truth and these guys are paid insane amount of money. Gosh. Hurts to see that list.

What I find most amusing now (from a Real fan perspective anyway) is not that Koeman is getting mediocre results at best considering circumstances. The better part is that he took on the job by ditching a far better position to enter this cesspit and somehow try to save it while knowing full well that staying in the job beyond the next election/end of season will be a miracle. He's done so signing on with the most unpopular president in club's history who was looking for a panic solution to the situation that led to 2-8 without even paying the predecessor the release settlement.

And Cules giving him next to zero credit for having that mindset.

Love it.

debatable. NT manager is a job for losers and managers looking for an easy job or retirement. there have been too few world class managers at NT level.

it is true that koeman entered a cesspit, but that is not something to praise him for as he wasn't doing charity work. he wouldn't have dreamed to take over an elite club otherwise, with his shite record at club level.

so it's more on us giving him an opportunity to make a name for himself than poor koeman being fooled to save us.

There was never the narrative of 'poor Koeman being fooled into saving Barca' bar some folk on here bizarrely trying to claim that.

No rumors coming out on Koeman. Weird. If he stays he's been undermined by the board and has no authority. If he leaves who comes?

If Koeman continues, Barcelona plan to review his contract. Bar?a will then think of proposing him a deal with a lower fixed salary than he currently has, compensating that with variables for winning titles. [sport]

Se queda...

Barto strikes again with another fake clause.

Laporta: Hey Ronald, so umm, we're still trying to beg Pep to come back but in the meantime, you're still the coach, OK?

Yeah no worries man, and one more thing. You're gonna have to take a pay cut. OK? Ok then bye.
