Releasing Umtit and Pjanic is going to cost us around 60m to 70m, so it's never going to happen. If we were to loan them out, I doubt we'd get the full wages for him. I think teams will only want to pay around 50% for them due to them being on big wages.

That's something. Doubt we can find teams willing to offer even that. For Pjanic more likely.

Not only are they on big wages. But other clubs know Barca is desperate, so if they lowball offers, Barca will eventually accept it.

The report that Barca wants to terminate their contracts, does even more harm in getting rid of them. If the board leaked that, then they are even more incompetent than the last one.

And not only this.

Unilaterally terminating players's contracts will put further damage to club's image which could last for years. Even if we'll actually have money to sign players in a few years they might think twice or three times before signing with us if that's how Laporta will now decide to offload most players. I hope he's smarter than that.

What an unprofessional ass - he went against club's recommendations to go for surgery just so he can play the world Cup - that made him a permanent liability! And now this shit

This lad is just fleecing the club lmao. He made Barca his bitch thanks to Barto - just chilling and living in Barcelona, earning millions for nothing, eating the best food and refusing to leave.

We have two precedents already that we didn't pay a cent to those whom we have terminated (Setien and Fernandes)
Both gone to court, we will see how it goes.
But as it stands right now, the club ,led by a successful lawyer, has no intention to pay any of those players and willing to take the legal battle.

There are many grounds to unilaterally terminate contract btw, up to the court to decide if we are right or wrong. But if we win the legal battle, then the only damage is to our reputation. Atm that is the least of our worries

I have to give myself a pat on the back for being one of the first on here to wake up about this bum several accounts ago.

And same like: Dembele and Lenglet.

Dembele has one year left, if he has a decent offer he will leave to be sure he can leach on another club long term.
His injury change the situation for him, one more major injury next season and he will be lucky to get a one year offer from Westham.

Lenglet has decreased his salary, and generally one of the most likable guys of the pitch tbf. He just had his worst season and it is just a question of who will want him to make it appealing for the club and the player.

He was offered to Napoli and AC Milan according to La Reppublica. Don't know how reliable they are but it's not like they can afford his wages or that he'll accept going there..
